Riolu and Lucario have been crowd favorites throughout the Pokemon series’. But, since the Galarian region has come about, we always wonder if we’ll be able to obtain our favorite Pokemon from previous games. Luckily, Riolu is obtainable in the Galarian region! Let’s check out how to get our hands on one (or ten).
How To Find Riolu
To find Riolu, head down to Giant’s Cap Area 2, which can be reached midway into the game. Giant’s Cap is in the North part of the Wild Area. If there is a Snowstorm brewing, you have a 5% chance of finding it here. You can also find Riolu in Giant’s Cap and Giant’s Cap Area 3 under the same Snowstorm conditions with a 5% chance as well.
How To Evolve Riolu Into Lucario
To evolve Riolu, you’ll need it to reach maximum happiness during the daytime. Then, get it to level up once and it’ll evolve into Lucario.
To make Riolu reach maximum happiness, there’s a few things you can do. Keeping Riolu in your party and battling with it will increase it’s happiness.
Giving your Pokemon curry or berries can also help increase happiness. You can also play with them at the Pokemon Camp. Finally, if you get the Soothe Bell and give it to Riolu, this will help to make it the happiest Pokemon it can possibly be.
