EA had stumbled with their Star Wars releases with Battlefront, but they managed to finally get a hit with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, the sequel had already been teased months ago, but we could have a release window for early next year.
According to insider Jeff Grubb (via Gamingbolt), EA and Respawn could be looking to drop Star Wars Jedi: Survivor around March 2023 and we could be getting some new information around this coming December.
Of course, these are just rumors for now, but the release window does seem pretty much in line with what we know so far. With Star Wars taking a break from theaters, Lucasfilm will have to depend on the smaller releases, and after Andor, there’s plenty of room for Survivor to shine in the spotlight by itself.
If the game is looking for a March release though, I would think that they would show us another teaser earlier than December. If you ask me, they should hype it up around the time of the finale of Andor. Both properties do take place around the same era in the timeline, and maybe there’s a way to relate the events of Cal’s adventures with Cassian’s the way we’ve seen them on the show.
Who knows, fans are still hoping for a Cal Kestis appearance in Andor, but I don’t think the series is going to go there yet.
As of now, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor still has no specific release date, but the game is aiming to launch sometime in 2023.
