The Devil Celebrates in New Clip from The Cuphead Show!

Just in, we have a new clip from The Cuphead Show! and it gives us a look at the series main antagonist, the Devil himself. Watch this:

The clip essentially shows us the Devil minding his own when some Hell business prompts him to search for an uncollected soul—presumably Cuphead. Though the devil is the main antagonist of the game, you have to hand it to the series for giving him his own motivation for tormenting Cuphead and Mugman.

Despite its influence from vintage cartoons, it looks like the series is going to be bringing in some more modern elements especially when it comes to the humor. Hopefully the series is also able to provide the same ragtime music soundtrack to completely follow the feel of the original game.

We don’t know for how long the series will run, but hopefully we get some more content that adds more to the original game’s lore. Maybe it can even be a nice jumping point for people who haven’t even played Cuphead in the first place.

Based on the award-winning video game, THE CUPHEAD SHOW! follows the unique misadventures of loveable, impulsive scamp Cuphead and his cautious but easily swayed brother Mugman.

Catch The Cuphead Show! when it debuts on Netflix on Feb. 18. You can play the original Cuphead game now available on PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PS4.
