Watch this:

Jane Foster joins the Marvel’s Avengers roster as the Mighty Thor in a free update. She possesses all the strength and power of a God of Thunder, but with human touches all her own.

While this version of the character sticks to the core origin of Foster’s Thor, there have been some changes made to fit her into the A-Day timeline. As it turns out, this Foster earns her Mjolnir after Thor quits being a hero after the events of A-Day. Like in the comics, Jane is still suffering from cancer, and she needs to keep transforming into Thor in order to survive.

Gameplay-wise, the Mighty Thor does have a different skill set as compared to the OG Thor. Her use of Mjolnir is much more different, and she can summon a second weapon, Undrjarn the All-Weapon, as Mjolnir flies around and takes out enemies.

The character is said to be a free update, so you don’t have to decide whether you want to cash out and play her or not. With Jane going full god mode in Love and Thunder, this could be the perfect time to get hyped for the character.

Avengers: A-Day is now playable for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 4|5.
