Act I: A Housekeeper’s Daily Chores
Thoma is a 4-star character that was added along with the Inazuma content of Genshin Impact. He is a support character, not only by his skills and gameplay but also in his character profile story.
This Pyro character is the housekeeper of the Kamisato Clan, a well-known “fixer” in Inazuma and one who does different jobs for the Yashiro Commission. Thoma is almost always busy doing housework and solving problems for the commission.
In this Hangout Event, you have the chance to spend time with Thoma, observe, and even take part in some of the work he does for the Yashiro Commission. Thoma’s Hangout Event has six endings that you need to reach to complete. For easier navigation, you can click on the items on the list and go directly to the Ending you want to know about.

Behind His Back
Thoma invited you to hang out, so you went to the Yashiro Commission to meet up with him. However, you hear two samurai talking about your friend behind his back when you get there.
When you approach the gossiping people, Thoma, who seems to have just gotten up from a nap, arrives to greet you. He had heard what those two samurai said but did not make a fuss about it and just let it be.
For Thoma, if a little private gossiping helps those guys let off some steam, it is good for them because it does not harm the Kamisato Clan. He will ask if you agree with him, and you can choose to say, “I agree. Let them, and you do you.” or “Sorry, I can’t say I agree.”
The first option will lead to endings 1 to 5, while the second option will lead you to ending 6.
Endings 1 to 5: “I agree. Let them, and you do you.”
Itinerary
Thoma has chosen not to let the comments bother him and focused on enjoying his hard-earned vacation. He will then ask for your ideas on what you would like to do during his free time. Since you are his guest, he thought you both should do something that you would enjoy.
Ending 1: Popular Class
Step 1: Host’s Invitation – Discuss Hospitality with Thoma
When Thoma asks whether you usually prefer indoor or outdoor activities, choose to stay indoors.
Step 2: Thanks for Your Hospitality! – Look for Thoma at Komore Teahouse
Since you prefer to do indoor activities, Thoma heads to Komore Teahouse to prepare something and asks you to meet him there when you are ready. Go to Komore Teahouse and see what Thoma has prepared for you.
Thoma prepared a meal for the two of you, which is not the same as the one you had in that hot pot game you did with him and Kamisato Ayaka.
After the meal, Thoma will notice a loose thread on your cape and offer to sew it up later. He will then confidently tell you that when it comes to housekeeping, no one is as handy around as he is. You then suggest that Thoma could run a housekeeping class for the Yashiro Commission with this skill and that this is how he can start winning more respect.
Thoma will doubt it, but he will be convinced because to him, life maintenance is important for you to look after yourself if you bring your best self to your work.
Step 3: When Thoma asks for an opinion on how to promote the workshop, choose to get the word out and spread it.
Thoma will then go and prepare because if he is going to end up with a lot of students, he should make sure he has all the supplies needed for the class. You volunteer to help him with the materials, and Thoma will ask you to bring Lavender Melon, Fowl, and Flour.
Step 4: Start Spreadin’ the News
Give the housekeeping course materials you collected to Thoma.
If you already have at least one serving of Lavender Melon, Fowl, and Flour in your inventory, you can talk to Thoma again to have him collect the ingredients.
Step 5: Advertise the housekeeping course to the city merchants.
Follow Thoma outside the Komore teahouse and help him talk to a few people in the city to invite them to join his housekeeping workshop.
The first person to talk to is Ogura Mio, the owner of Ogura Textiles & Kimonos. Thoma will ask for her help to spread the word about the housekeeping course you are organizing. You will also need to buy a lot of fabric from Ogura Mio’s store.
Ogura Mio will promise to ask her customer to sign up for the course after she closes up for the day. She will also mention a person named Yuuko, who is supposed to be well connected in the community. Yuuko happens to have mentioned she tried knitting, and with Thoma’s expertise, she should be interested in the course.
Step 6: Advertise the housekeeping course to the city housewives.
Go to the house nearest the northern Teleport Waypoint in Inazuma City, and you will find Yuuko there, talking to another woman named Yuuri.
These two ladies would like their husbands to learn a few things about housekeeping to help with a few housework. Since the workshop is not limited to women, Yuuko and Yuuri will be interested in Thoma’s housekeeping class and bring their husbands along.
Yuuri will then ask if you have thought about asking an older man named Nagano to participate in the course. Indeed, Thoma decides to see if he can convince the older folks to come along and make up the numbers.
Step 7: Advertise the housekeeping course to the city’s senior folk.
Find Nagano by the path behind Ogura Textiles & Kimonos and talk to him about Thoma’s housekeeping course.
The old man doubts whether Thoma could do it but still agrees to be part of the class. He promised to join the class, and if he finds Thoma to be as good as he claims to be, he will encourage everyone he knows to attend future classes. But if he finds Thoma’s skills lacking, Nagano is willing to teach a few things himself.
Step 8: Return to the Yashiro Commission to make final preparations.
When we return to the Kamisato Estate, which is also the Yashiro Commission, Thoma will be waiting at the entrance feeling a little nervous because it is his first time holding a class. He has no idea how many people to expect.
Thoma will continue setting up everything and ask you to return for the housekeeping class the next day.
Step 9: Wait until the following day (08:00 – 24:00)
Open the game clock from the menu and set the game world’s time to somewhere from 8 am the next day. Once the in-game day has passed, you can return to the Yashiro Commission for Thoma’s housekeeping class.
Step 10: Go to the Yashiro Commission to participate in the housekeeping course.
Inside the mansion, in the open southeastern area, Thoma will be waiting with some of the people who decided to join the class. Go to them and participate in the activity.
Even when Thoma has already started the class, people are still coming in to join. Two of them are the Yashiro samurai gossiping about Thoma, and their wives want them to join the class to learn a lesson or two about housework.

Ending 2: Alone Time
Step 1: Follow steps 1 and 2 of Ending 1.
Step 3: When Thoma asks for an opinion on promoting the workshop, choose to keep it within the Yashiro Commission.
Since the housekeeping class will only be for the Yashiro Commission staff, preparations should not take too much, but Thoma will need your help to think of how exactly the course should be promoted within the commission.
Thoma will be waiting for you in the Yashiro Commission to start the promotion.
Step 4: Small-Scale Changes
Go to the Yashiro Commission and help Thoma advertise his housekeeping course at the Yashiro Commission to attract even more people to come.
Once you are at the Kamisato Estate, talk to the people there and tell them about Thoma’s workshop.
Step 5: Advertise the housekeeping course to Hirano.
After knowing that Thoma will teach the housekeeping class, Hirano, a Yashiro Commission Representative, is very much willing to participate. However, he has a lot to do in the next couple of days and promised to swing by once his schedule has been freed up.
Hirano will then suggest you talk to Furuta, the Kamisato Clan’s butler, about Thoma’s housekeeping class.
Step 6: Advertise the housekeeping course to Furuta.
When talking to Furuta about the housekeeping class, she will be excited because the time has finally come for Koharu to learn from Thoma. She will also suggest that Thoma do a spring clean of the Yashiro Commission to showcase his method.
For Furuta, seeing is believing, and that is better to let the class participants see Thoma in action rather than convince them with words alone.
Step 7: Complete the housekeeping task within the time limit.
On this part, you need to do a few tasks within a given time limit.
The tasks you will play as Thoma, and you need to cut weeds in 6 areas and then water three trees before the 1-minute timer ends.
After the cleanup showcase, Thoma is hopeful that many people will show up for the housekeeping class, given the number of spectators you had. He will continue setting out some tables and chairs and then ask you to return the next day for the class.
After completing this mini-challenge, you will unlock the achievement “Housekeeper Extraordinaire – Complete the big cleanup within the time limit.”
Step 8: Wait until the following day (08:00 – 24:00)
Open the game clock from the menu and set the game world’s time to somewhere from 8 am the next day. Once the in-game day has passed, you can return to the Yashiro Commission for Thoma’s housekeeping class.
Step 9: Go to the Yashiro Commission to participate in the housekeeping course.
Inside the mansion, in the open southeastern area, Thoma will be waiting, and it seems like not many people have shown up.
Despite the empty venue, Thoma is still showing positive energy because, to him, you can’t expect to change people’s views on things like this overnight, and it takes time and effort.
Since he only has you as his student for this class, Thoma will teach you how to sew up your clothes, as he mentioned earlier. He will also teach you how to knit a sweater so that you can make some warm clothes before the winter comes.

Ending 3: The Sea Breeze Carries Memories
Step 1: Host’s Invitation – Discuss Hospitality with Thoma
When Thoma asks whether you usually prefer indoor or outdoor activities, choose to head outside.
He has a few places to recommend, and if you like cats and dogs, Thoma knows a few great places he can take you to. These are some places he goes to every time he has a day off.
Step 2: Thoma will ask you if you prefer to see the animals or stroll around town.
Choose to see the cats and dogs that Thoma mentioned.
Thoma will then ask you to meet him later at the sakura tree in Hanamizaka, where he feeds the stray animals.
Step 3: Meet Thoma at the place where stray cats and dogs gather.
The sakura tree is at the center of the entrance of Inazuma City, and there are tons of stray cats and dogs on the outskirts.
Thoma won the affection of these stray animals after feeding them several times, and eventually, he felt that they were now his responsibility.
Step 4: Under the Same Shade – Feed the strays
Now, it’s your turn to try feeding the stray cats and dogs with their favorite food that Thoma brought with him.
Go near the two feeding bowls and place the food in them.
Once done, talk to Thoma again.
Thoma will then mention a ninja dog he saw the other day on the beach north of Konda Village. They usually stick with their human ninja partners and the reason why this one concerns Thoma because it is extremely rare to find a ninja dog on its own. He tried bringing it to the Yashiro Commission, but it did not even let him pet it.
Thoma doesn’t want to give up and is very worried, wondering what that ninja dog would have to eat out there. In this part, choose to suggest that you go and see it together.
Step 5: Ninken by the Shore
Look for the ninken that has wandered off into the wild.
Travel to the Teleport Waypoint at the entrance of Konda Village and walk to the shore north of it. The ninja dog seems to sit in the same spot on the beach all day, only moving to take a few paces back when the tide comes in.
When you find the masterless ninken, it looks somewhat calm, but Thoma suggests staying a few paces behind him because it could pounce and bite in an instant if it gets riled up.
As Thoma tries to feed the ninken, it just barks and growls at him with zero intention of eating the food you brought. Something seems to have the masterless ninja dog on alert, and upon checking the nearby, you see a bunch of monsters.
Step 6: Clear out the nearby monsters.
By the trees and bushes behind where the ninja dog is, you will find several hilichurls. You need to defeat them and hope that this will calm the ninken down.
Step 7: Observe the ninken’s responses.
After clearing out the area of the monsters, Thoma will once again try to feed the ninja dog but to no avail. Thoma will then decide that you go back to the Yashiro Commission headquarters to ask around and see if you could find the ninken’s owner so they can collect it.
Step 8: Go to the Yashiro Commission to ask about the ninken’s master.
At the headquarters, you will find a man named Kazuaki, also a member of the Shuumatsuban, a secret ninja organization that works for the Yashiro Commission. He seems familiar with the ninja dog you mentioned and will ask you to describe it. Upon doing so, Kazuaki will reveal that the dog’s name is Inu Shoushou and that its master went out to sea on a dangerous mission and will not return.
This means that In Shoushou will be waiting forever for its master. When Thoma asks for any personal belongings of the ninken’s master, Kazuaki only has the man’s kunai he used to train with. Kazzuaki will give the weapon to you so you can give it to Inu Shoushou and promise that the Shuumatsuban will cover the ninken’s expenses.
Completing this part of the Hangout Event will unlock the achievement “From the Sea Never Returning – Learn of Inu Shoushou’s story together with Thoma.”
Step 9: Keep the ninken company with Thoma.
The masterless ninja dog reacted when you called its name and when Thoma showed him its master’s kunai, it seemed to have become more calm and affectionate towards you two.
Thoma will then realize that what Inu Shoushou needed was not for you to take him away but for you two to accompany it as it sits by the beach, honoring the memory of its master. The Kamisato Clan’s housekeeper then decides to make a kennel for the ninken and weave its winter clothes.

Ending 4: New Clothes!
Step 1: Follow steps 1 to 3 of Ending 3.
Step 2: Under the Same Shade – Feed the strays
Now, it’s your turn to try feeding the stray cats and dogs with their favorite food that Thoma brought with him. After feeding the strays, Thoma will mention a ninja dog he saw the other day on the beach north of Konda Village.
These dogs usually stick with their human ninja partners, and the reason why this one concerns Thoma is because it is extremely rare to find a ninja dog on its own. He tried bringing it to the Yashiro Commission, but it did not even let him pet it.
Thoma doesn’t want to give up and is very worried, wondering what that ninja dog would have to eat out there. In this part, choose to suggest that you give it some time to calm down.
Step 3: Bits and Bobs for Cats and Dogs
Back to the animal friends you are feeding, Thoma wonders if he should knit them sweaters now that the weather is getting colder. However, taking their measurements could be a problem because most of them do not like being touched. So, you suggest taking photographs of them instead.
Take photos of the stray animal from different angles so you can work out their measurements by using other objects in the picture as a reference. You must take photos in front and from the side of the stray animals.
Once done, bring the photos to Thoma so he can make up the measurements and start making the sweaters. He will dismiss you and ask that you revisit this place some other time, maybe when he’s done knitting.
Step 4: Wait until the following day (08:00 – 24:00)
Open the game clock from the menu and set the game world’s time to somewhere from 8 am the following day. Once the in-game day has passed, you can return to the sakura tree in Hanamizaka and talk to Thoma, who will be waiting for you.
Thoma spent the night completing all the sweaters for the stray animals, and now you should test them out by having the cat and dog friends wear them.

Thoma knits sweaters for stray cats and dogs, but it seems one doesn’t quite fit.
Ending 5: A Lingering Fragrance
Step 1: Follow step 1 of ending 3.
Step 2: Thoma will ask you if you prefer to see the animals or stroll around town.
Choose to hit the town and stroll around Ritou.
Step 3: A Trip for Two in Ritou
Go to Ritou and talk to Thoma. He knows Ritou, so he will give you the grand tour.
Visiting Ritou after a long while led to the conversation about traveling and mentioning Mondstadt. Thoma will then share that he was originally from the City of Freedom and how he ended up in Inazuma under the Kamisaton Clan.
Thoma will then introduce you to some of the foreign stores in Ritou.
First is the Chuyu Trading Company branch, based in Liyue, that sells ore from the Geo region. You will be greeted by Qiuyue, the manager of the company’s Ritou branch. She will let you pick out special jewelry, and you can choose either a necklace or a bracelet. But Thoma will decide to take them both.
The next shop you visit is the Sailing Breeze, a purveyor of Mondstadt wines.
The third shop is the Eipekkusu, which Kaede owns, and Thoma will get a Toy Fox from this store.
Next is the International Trade Commission. While there, a merchant approaches Thoma saying he is about to send someone to deliver a gift to him.
This merchant is named Keiichi, and although Thoma hasn’t met him before, Thoma resolved a problem that he got into and would like to show his gratitude. Keiichi will give a confectionery of Yumeno Tennenan, a fine purveyor of Inazuman delicacies.
For your last stop, Thoma will show you a spot in Ritou that he always visits when he’s around, and it is a spot where he relaxes.
Before heading back, you give Thoma a Windwheel Aster gift from Mondstadt. He will be a little lost for words because it has an immeasurable value to him. In return, Thoma will give an omamori that he always carries with him because it can bring good luck to its bearer. His father gave it to his mother, and then she gave it to Thoma just before he came to Inazuma.

Ending 6: “Sorry, I can’t say I agree.”
After hearing the two samurai gossiping, Thoma was not bothered and just let them be. When he asks if you agree with him, you should choose to say, “Sorry, I can’t say I agree.”
Ending 6: The Housekeeper’s Other Side
Step 1: Unforeseen Circumstances
Since you want to change how people in the Yashiro Commission see Thoma by letting them see his hard work, Thoma will ask for your suggestions on what to do so he can win these people’s respect.
Ask the Yashiro Commission members questions.
You need to talk to 3 people in the commission headquarters.
First is Takashi, who thinks Thoma is busy enough.
Next is Masanobu, who doesn’t believe that people are talking behind Thoma’s back and thinks Thoma does a wonderful job and always remains modest about it.
And the last person to ask about Thoma is Kiyoe, who seems to be having a problem.
The ceremonial implements they procured from another island, to be used for the coming festival, sank to the bottom of the ocean along with the ship carrying it. The only option is to buy another batch from a man named Yuusaku, who greatly increased the prices of the goods after hearing of the Yashiro Commission’s predicament.
Step 2: Tell Thoma of the Yashiro Commission emergency.
Thoma heard of the situation and was planning on finding some time to sort things out after entertaining you. But now you want to help him find a solution to the problem. The good thing is that Thoma knows the guy, so he decides to talk to him.
Step 3: Negotiate with the merchants in the city.
Teleport to Narukami City and go to the alley beside Ogura Textiles & Kimonos. You will find Yashiro Commission representatives, Kazumasa and Furusawa, trying to negotiate with the merchant named Yuusaku.
Yuusaku once sold some ceremonial implements of inferior quality to the commission, so they returned them and exposed his malpractice. Now, he wants to take revenge on the commission by charging extra for his goods. He does not want to negotiate and even claimed the goods rot in storage rather than sell to the Yashiro Commission at lower prices.
Step 4: Go with Thoma to meet “a friend.”
After the failed discussion with Yuusaku, follow Thoma as he meets up with another person. This man is Yasutake, who is in a business that purchases Iron Ore from suppliers. After increasing their purchasing price, they have more bidders and supplies than they need. Thoma will warn the man about sellers who might be unable to offer high-quality goods.
Now, Thoma shared his thoughts, based on the information he gathered, on some of the sellers that are bidding to be Yasutake’s supplier of Iron Ore. Yasutake will then ask for your help with some of their Iron Ore deliveries because some of them are getting stolen, especially on the road between Konda Village and Inazuma City.
Step 5: Go to Konda Village and help with delivery.
Travel to the southern Teleport Waypoint in Konda Village and walk south to Byakko Plain until you come across a man with a cargo who is being attacked by monsters.
Defeat these monsters and talk to the man.
Step 6: Talk to the cargo merchant.
The man is Hironori, an Ore merchant who is delivering Iron Ore to Yasutake.
Step 7: Deliver the cargo out of the city.
The next thing you need to do is to escort a cargo balloon so that it can safely travel to the city.
Within the 5-minute time limit, escort the cargo balloon without getting destroyed. As it moves through Byakko Plain, barricades will block the road, and monsters will appear to attack the cargo.
Breaking the barricades is not enough; you must defeat all existing monsters before the cargo balloon starts moving again.
Step 8: Report back to Yasutake.
After escorting the cargo balloon to safety, head back to Inazuma City and report to Yasutake.
Yasutake will thank you for ensuring the cargo is safely delivered and will assure Thoma that he already had someone resolve the issue that Thoma needed help with.
Apparently, Thoma’s friend was the quartermaster of the Tenryou Commission. He is in charge of all their procurement and also responsible for keeping their weapon supplies intact. This makes him the key decision-maker in all related trade in Iron ore.
Step 9: Go with Thoma to see Sakai.
Before Thoma can discuss how helping Yasutake is related to the ceremonial preparations of the Yashiro Commission, he asks you to come with him to see another friend of his.
You can find this person beside the Kaminami Restaurant near the Amenoma Smithy.
In exchange for Noctilucous Jade, Sakai will agree to collect loan payments from someone despite a long repayment period. Thoma will remind Sakai that the person was entitled to the long repayment period because of his business relationship with the Yashiro Commission.
Collect Noctilucous Jades and give them to Sakai.
Step 10: Go to the Yashiro Commission to witness the denouement of the emergency.
Just when the Yashiro Commission representatives were about to lose hope, Yuusaku suddenly appeared, apologizing and offering to sell his goods at half the original price. He will also promise that what he will sell for the commission will not include fakes and defective items.
The guy Sakai and Thoma were talking about was Yuusaku. He is afraid to lose his business ties with the Yashiro Commission and eventually chooses to help with the commission’s emergency.
After solving the Yashiro Commission’s emergency, you find Thoma in the corridor, sweeping.
Thoma will explain what happened and tell you how he feels about what most people think about him. All he needs is people close to him to know the real him. What others think does not bother him one bit.

After reaching all six endings of Thoma’s Hangout Event, you will unlock the achievement “Everyone’s Happy – Complete “A Housekeeper’s Daily Chores” and unlock all endings.
