The Slormancer is a complicated game to say the least. Even though the game is still in early access, the game is impressive with all of the crafting and progression mechanics. Many in the Slormancer community are figuring the game as they go, together, which makes the game even more appealing. In any case, starting the game is challenging, and it is not that forgiving for new players.
On top of many of the combat aspects and character progression you will need to learn during your gameplay, there is also crafting, which is an essential part of the game.
Crafting Basics & Essentials – The Slormancer
Basically, to start crafting in The Slormancer, you will need to go to one of two NPCs: the blacksmith or the slormite expert. Naturally, both of them are for different aspects of crafting.
The blacksmith gives you the possibility to change your stats on your items fully, change the values of your stats, implement a skill, an attribute, or a reaper, and ultimately increase the item level. The majority of your time, you will spend at the blacksmith.
The slormite expert is a bit different, and unconventional compared to most other RPGs. You can add +1 and +2 at the slormite expert, which ultimately means that the power of the item is much higher.
Here, you can also compile the slormite thirds. There are three types of slormites:
- Slormite, which can be used at the expert to make your item stronger.
- Slormeline, which has a small chance that it will strengthen an item at the expert. It can also be used at the Blacksmith, where it can implement new stats, change them, delete them, etc.
- Slormandrite is an interesting one. With it, the chances for critical reinforcement will be increased, and even increase or decrease the chances of failure by 100%
That basically covers every aspect of crafting in the Slormancer. Sure, the game is far from the last stage in its journey, so this is a subject of change.
The crafting in The Slormancer will continue to evolve, but for now, this is all there is to know to excel at it.
