One of the most anticipated contents of Genshin Impact is the Chasm because it has been teased by a few dialogues in the game since its release back in September 2020. The Chasm is a large mining site where some mysterious phenomenon has occurred; thus, access to it has been limited to a few groups.
Somewhere in the Chasm is a new Domain that players can enter and challenge to obtain the two new artifact sets. This domain is called The Lost Valley, and the artifacts you can get here are the Vermillion Hereafter and the Echoes of an Offering. The said domain is not readily available when you unlock the Chasm, and you need to follow a particular mechanic of the region to break the thing that is blocking the domain’s entrance.
The entrance to The Lost Valley has been blocked by one of the Unique Rocks, mysterious, uniquely-shaped rocks related to the special rock pillars nearby. Each Unique Rock will have one or more symbols on it that look like the symbol of the Geo element.
You will see a few colossal rock pillars to the southeast of the domain. The farthest one is resonating some Geo energy; this is one of those Unique Rock Pillars. When you hit these Unique Rock Pillars with explosions, blunt force traumas, or Geo attacks, it will create a resonant quake affecting other rock pillars and certain Geo Constructs.
To break the Unique Rock blocking the entrance to The Lost Valley domain, you need to have a resonant quake hit it. Place as many Geo constructs as you want in between the Unique Rock and the nearest rock pillar. Go to the Unique Rock Pillar and hit it with a Geo attack or a blunt weapon.
A domino of resonant quakes will happen among the Geo constructs and the rock pillars around and hit your target Unique Rock. Since it only has one symbol, a single resonant quake will be enough to break it.
The entrance to The Lost Valley domain will now be available, and you will also unlock an achievement of the same name.
The Lost Valley – Domain of Blessing: Machine Nest Artifacts
Echoes of an Offering
The 2-piece set of this artifact, like the two above, gives an 18% ATK bonus. If a 4-piece set is equipped, when regular character attacks hit opponents, there is a 36% chance that it will trigger the Valley Rite buff. This buff will increase the normal attack damage by 70% of the character’s ATK.
Vermillion Hereafter
This artifact will also give an 18% ATK bonus for its 2-piece set. With the 4-piece set equipped, the character will gain the Nascent Light effect after using an Elemental Burst. This effect increases the character’s ATK by 8% for 16 seconds, and when their HP decreases, their ATK will increase by 10% up to 4 times.
Nascent Light will be dispelled when the character leaves the field, and if an elemental burst is used again during the duration of Nascent Light, the original effect will be dispelled.
