“Gotta catch ’em all,” one of the franchise’s most famous lines, is one of the primary objectives in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. The game takes place many years ago when the Sinnoh region was still called Hisui. The player will become part of the Galaxy Expedition Team (commonly called Galaxy Team) to become among the most important members of the Survey Corps.
The Survey Corps’ mission is to gather information about the Pokemon that populate the region. To develop the first Hisui Pokedex, the player must catch every type of Pokemon and complete their Research Tasks. Furthermore, the legendary Arceus will assign the player to meet every Pokemon in the region.
This guide will discuss everything you need to know about Roserade in Pokemon Legends: Arceus!
Roserade
Roserade, the 91st Pokemon in the Hisuian Pokedex, is a Grass and Poison type Bouquet Pokemon with a body resembling a bouquet in a masquerade attire. It has white rose petals for hair, a pair of red eyes with a green mask over it, a pair of arms with blue and red flowers for hands, a pair of green, slender, stubby legs with yellow tips, and a green and leafy cape.
According to its Pokedex entry in the game, poisonous thorny whips are hidden inside Roserade’s bouquet. Roserade will use them to mercilessly lash out at its prey after it corners it gracefully.
Basic Information
Roserade is a Grass and Poison-type Pokemon. Hence, it is weak (super effective) to Fire-type, Flying-type, Ice-type, and Psychic-type moves and resistant (not very effective) to Electric-type, Fairy-type, Fighting-type, Water-type, and especially Grass-type moves.
Roserade’s base stats are 60 HP, 70 Attack, 65 Defense, 125 Special Attack, 105 Special Defense, and 90 Speed for a total of 515.
Roserade can be evolved from a Roselia by using a Shiny Stone. Roselia can be evolved from a Budew by leveling up during the daytime once it reaches a high Friendship Level.
Roserade likes Springy Mushrooms, Dazzling Honey, and Crunchy Salts, which, including berries, can be tossed at it to feed it or distract it from catching or battling it unawares.
When a Roserade is caught or defeated in the wild, the player will receive a Seed of Mastery and an Exp Candy L.
Location
To find a Roserade, the player can only go to the following area:
In the Crimson Mirelands: in Cloudpool Ridge.
The Roserade that can be found in the location mentioned is a Level 50 Alpha Pokemon.
Roserade can be found in the area specified in every weather condition. However, it can only be found here during the day (morning, midday, and evening).
Also, there is a chance the player can find a Roserade in Massive Mass Outbreaks in the Crimson Mirelands.
Research Tasks
The following are the Research Tasks in Roserade’s Pokedex entry in Pokemon Legends: Arceus:
Multiplier | Research Task | Objectives |
x2 | Number caught | 1/2/4/6/10 |
Number defeated | 1/2/4/6/10
x2 | Number you have defeated with Flying type moves | 1/2/3 |
Times you have seen it use Energy Ball | 1/3/6/12/25
x2 | Times you have seen it use Petal Dance | 1/3/8/20/40 |
Times you have seen it use an agile style move | 1/3/8/20/40
Times you have stunned it by using items | 1/3/5/7/10
Number of different forms you’ve obtained | 2 |
Suppose one of a Research Task’s objectives is met. In that case, a Pokemon’s Pokedex entry’s Research Level is raised by one level. However, it will raise by two if it has a Research Level multiplier of x2. In that case, accomplishing one of its objectives grants two Research Levels rather than just one. A Pokemon’s Pokedex entry must reach Research Level 10 to be considered complete.

Completing Pokedex entries and Research Task objectives will grant the player Research Points, raising the player’s Star Rank in the Galaxy Team if the player accumulates enough.
To quickly complete Roserade’s Pokedex entry, the player can catch one, then defeat three more using Flying-type moves. These will tick the first objective of the “Number caught” Research Task to add two Research Levels.
It will also tick the first and second objectives of the “Number defeated” Research Task, gaining two more Research Levels. Finally, it will tick the first, second, and third objectives of the “Number you have defeated with Flying-type moves” Research Task gaining six Research Levels.
