Without a doubt, you’ll find yourself in some very difficult battles in Hyrule Warriors. For me, and I’m guessing for most of you, taking down big and strong creatures is one of the most rewarding experiences in this game.
The Stone Taluses are enormous rock creatures, and slaying them requires a lot of skill and patience. Nevertheless, if you are having some trouble taking them down, I will give you some pointers on how to defeat them.
How to Defeat the Stone Taluses – Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity
You will find these creatures roaming around in rocky places. They will appear for a few quests or challenges like “Strike it Rich”, Fairy Mountain: Desert Sands”, and “Coliseum: Beginner”.
Many would probably like to get the Stone Talus trophy, so with that said, follow these guidelines to defeat the Stone Taluses in Hyrule Warriors:
- Even though the Stone Taluses hit very hard, the premise of this guide is to not get hit by them at all.<img src="
- They’re very slow, and if you are not within their reach, they won’t attack. I suggest to get close to them to make them attack, and then dodge the attack. After that, you have some time to attack, kindly hit the Taluses 2-3 times with a combo then repeat.
- If you do combos like that, one of their arms will be broken. They will put their shoulder in the ground, so that their arm regrows. This is when you do another combo.
- At this point, if you are a more skillful Hyrule Warriors player, then I suggest to get on the Stone Taluses’ back and attack its weak spot. It looks like a black rock on its back.
- Honestly, that’s all you need to do. But you can also do some spells from a far distance between baiting and attacking the Taluses. Do this as much as possible.
If you are wondering what materials you will get from the Stone Taluses, from what we know, you can get Opal, Amber, Flint, and Topaz.
Because they’re fundamentally stones, they give off these materials. For now, that’s all that we know about the Stone Taluses, there might be some other materials that drop too!
If you challenge these beasts, then I wish you the best of luck. Stick to the guidelines from above to ensure a easy victory!
