December is here, which means we’re getting closer to the release of The Last of Us series on HBO. Just in, we have a batch of new character posters for the series, and it gives us a look at all the other characters Ellie and Joel will meet in their journey.

Though we do get characters that Joel and Ellie meet after they get together, like Bill (Nick Offerman) and siblings Henry and Sam (Lamar Johnson and Keivonn Woodard), we also have some characters that we meet before the official ‘quest’ like Joel’s daughter Sarah (Nico Parker) and Ellie’s friend Riley (Storm Reid).

The show also gives us a look at Frank (Murray Bartlett) who we never really meet in the game, but I’m thinking he’s going to be in a flashback featuring Bill.

While some think that the first season would cover everything that happens in the first game, I think the reveal of characters for the season means we could be expecting less. Bill and Henry are part of two completely separate arcs, and I have a feeling that they’re saving the Firefly arc and David arc for the next season—that is, if it gets picked up.

If David really were to appear in this season, I think they would have already announced the actor playing him. If anything, he feels like one of the bigger antagonists in the game, so they would want to cast someone recognizable.
