The pandemic came with many surprise hits, one of which is InnerSloth’s sci-fi sabotage game, Among Us. Though the game has gotten pretty far from its peak popularity, the developers have shared a new roadmap to showcase how they plan to keep the game alive through the new year.
This was posted on the official site:
The site has also confirmed that the top priority for the game right now is the quality of life improvements and the Friend’s List. They write, “We know a ton of you have found some lifelong friendships from this game and that’s cool – we want to allow you to keep in touch and continue playing games together!”
The update also addresses how some players have gotten confused with updates like Cosmicube redemption and account creation, and some fixes have been promised to be on the way. Though the game had looked pretty simple on the surface, nobody was ready for the sudden popularity it had during the pandemic; when everyone was locked in and craving connections with people—even if there was a chance that one of them was sabotaging your entire game.
Besides all these updates, a collaboration with Good Smile Company has also been announced, and we will be getting Among Us Nendoroids soon. Hopefully, they come with some more colorful accessories and alternate feature options.
Among Us is now playable on Xbox One, PS4, Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
