The keen-eyed will have noticed a trend with these S-tier Legendary Gems. If you still have not figured it out, we will spill the beans – the best Legendary Gems in Diablo Immortal provide instant attack damage boosts in-game.
After all, Diablo Immortal is a game about slaying monsters and running through dungeons to clear them as quickly as possible. The faster players can clear dungeons, the better the rewards will be.
With that in mind, it should not be a surprise why all of the Legendary Gems that feature attack power bonuses landed in the S-tier.
S-Tier Ranking Rationale
The Blood-soaked Jade tops the S-tier list, thanks to its generous 8% attack damage boost on top of the 10% movement speed boost. The minimum 4% bonus damage is also a nice touch as this Legendary Gem provides a decent damage bonus regardless of the player’s current HP.
Power and Command rank second as the Legendary Gem provides a toggle-able 8% damage buff that players can cycle through depending on the situation. Need more Primary Attack Damage? Use the Power State. Prefer Skill Damage? Toggle to the Command State.
Fervent Fang ranks third in the S-tier list, as the Legendary Gem relies on Primary Attacks to build up its damage bonuses. This means that players will have to hit enemies a few times before receiving the full damage bonus from the Legendary Gem. In addition, players can only reap the maximum bonuses from Fervent Fang by focusing on one enemy unit at a time.
Chained Death ranks next to Fervent Fang because of its lower overall damage bonus. However, it does have a neat trick: Chained Death’s bonus damage can affect up to four enemies at once, whereas Fervent Fang only stacks damage on one target at a time.
The 1-Star S-tier Legendary Gem, Berserker’s Eye rank fifth in the S-tier list due to the recoil damage it deals with the player. The 5% bonus damage is decent, but that comes at the cost of 6% more damage taken.
Coming in last place but in S-tier nonetheless is the Everlasting Torment. All the other S-tier Legendary Gems provide decent bonus damage from the get-go. And while Everlasting Torment’s Agony debuff deals a decent amount of damage towards enemies, it comes with a considerable long cooldown of 6-seconds per enemy.
Damage Is The Name of the Game
A quick look at the lower-tier gems will find decent bonuses and status abilities that feature a cooldown timer in one way or another. These Legendary Gems failed to reach a higher tier in the rankings because they are dependent on Summons, other teammates, or specific situations to bring out their full potential.
On the other hand, S-tier Legendary Gems are a no-brainer – more damage = faster dungeon clearing = better drops in Elder Rifts. The advantages that S-tier Legendary Gems carry over to PvP, where players can dish out maximum damage and not have to rely on Summons and status debuffs to deal consistent damage to their enemies.
So, there we have it! We hope you have gained a good idea of the benefits of each of the Legendary Gems in Diablo Immortal.
