There’s been a lot of buzz from the latest release of Obsidian Entertainment, Grounded. The survival game was released in early access on July 28 for the PC and Xbox One platform.
The game official release date is set to be somewhere in 2021 nothing is confirmed yet. The developing team is now owned by Microsoft and actually they are managing the release of the game as part of Xbox Game Studios.
There has been a lot of talk among the gaming communities if the game is going to get released on PS4 or even PS5 and there’s not an actual statement made by the developers. The unique style of the game that sets the protagonist as a shrunken character has made many people wondering and actually hoping that it’s coming on their preferred platform.
Is Grounded actually coming to PS4 or PS5?
Unfortunately Grounded for PS4 or PS5 isn’t going to happen. The developing studio is now restricted to publish only for the Xbox family of game consoles and for a wide variety of PC stores. It’s a shame that this amazing developing team has said restrictions but there’s nothing we can do about it and they chose this way themselves.
The game also offers cross-platform play so you can play from multiple storefronts. So for anyone of you wondering where to play the game fire up the PC or the Xbox and give it a go. Those are your only options for playing this amazing weird game. Tell us in the comments down below with what platform will you be playing this game when it officially launches.
However, you can still check out the trailer down below even if you are a PlayStation user only.
