The Death in the Family mission is by no exaggeration a rollercoaster ride. The mystery of the family drama and the plot of the whole story thickens every time you find a new piece of information. The main objectives in the missions are relatively simple. One is to assassinate Alexa Carlisle, and the other is to get the Arthur Edwards case files. However, there are two ways in which you can get these files.
There is either the hard way, which involves using your puzzle-solving skills, and the other is the easy way, in which you can get them from madam Carlisle herself.
How to Get the Case Files – Hitman 3 Dartmoor
Now, it may sound much simpler on paper, but getting the case files is far more challenging than you might think. Firstly, you must open the secret room through the mysterious switch.
For those that would much rather follow a video guide, make sure to follow the steps in the video above.
Opening the secret room is a difficult endeavor all by itself. You must get a walking cane from the couple’s room, and then open the library secret room using that. After this point, you can frame Zachary for committing a suicide. Madam Carlisle will gain your trust, and you can get the case files from her.
This is not difficult to do once you have all of the information on Zachary from the hidden secret room in the library. After you’ve done that, all you need to do is interact with the butler and tell him that you’re ready to see Alexa Carlisle.
When you interact with her, make sure that you choose to frame Zachary, and continue the interaction. At some point in the conversation, she will ask you for a reward for your findings.
You can either get money as your reward, or the infamous Arthur Edwards case files, choose the latter.
We made a video that outlines the whole interaction with Alexa Carlisle, and also all of the interaction choices that you will need to make. So, follow the video if you want to get a more detailed look on how to get the files easily.
