For example, the lacrosse move is one of the hardest moves to pull off, and even harder to score a point with it. But if you score a goal with this move, it is the most pleasurable point you can achieve.

NHL 21: How to Do the Lacrosse Move

When executed, the lacrosse move is unbelievable to see. You use your hockey stick to move the puck in one direction and then immediately flick it to the other direction while getting it into the air.

Scoring from behind the goals is possible, but extremely difficult. It can also be used as a sort of a dribbling move, until you master it to the point where you feel comfortable to score goals with it.

Nonetheless, this is how to do the lacrosse move in NHL 21:

IMPORTANT: In the steps below, I will show you how you can execute the move on both PS4 and Xbox One.

  1. Move the Right Stick to the left.
  2. Press L1 or LB for either PS or Xbox, while your right stick is on the left.
  3. Click the Right Stick and move it half a circle counter-clockwise while holding L1 or LB.

It might sound straightforward to do, but once you try it, you will see just how difficult it is. Similarly, you can do it on the other direction by changing the direction of the stick, i.e. from left to right.

As I said, it might take some getting used to but, once you master it, you can score goals even from behind the keeper. Good luck!
