Cyberpunk 2077 is a hugely anticipated title of 2020. However, as we have seen, the release date was delayed several times, and we are unsure whether delays will happen again.
While we all wait, you can experience the immersive experience of Cyberpunk 2077 in GTA V, thanks to community-made mods. It’s fairly straightforward to do, but it won’t exactly turn it into the exact Cyberpunk game.
Turn GTA V to Cyberpunk 2077 with Mods
As I said, it won’t add the mechanics and many of the features that Cyberpunk will have, but at least you will get to experience the setting and other things before its release.
I will outline a couple of mods that will be crucial if you want to change the appearance of GTA V. Some of them might require raw gaming power, so a good gaming PC is a must.
The most important mod of them all is the map mod.
GrandCyberPunk – Map Mod
With the GrandCyberPunk map mod, you will get the most detailed Cyberpunk-style map. You can find others, but this one is the most detailed.
When you play the game with this mod, you get the sense that many hours and work have gone into making this map.
There are millions of things to explore and travel, and chances are you won’t cover all the places because of such detail.
Cyberpunk Peds – Characters
If you want to add some characters into GTA V, which will look a lot like Cyberpunk, then this is the mod to go with.
The characters will have some customizations, the most apparent being the hairstyle customizations. Some features of the character will even glow at night!
Vehicles
There are three vehicles you can implement in the game:
- Cyberpunk 2077 Quadra V-Tech
- Delorean DMC-12
- Radiant VFF
The Quadra V-Tech is an actual vehicle from Cyberpunk, which is nice. However, the other two are just cars which Cyberpunk inspires.
Nevertheless, they’re quite interesting, and you can fly one. Unsurprisingly, it’s difficult to control the car while flying, if I do say so myself.
Militech Vindicator
This one is a weapon mod. Sadly, it’s not a pack, and it only has one gun, but at least the maker of this mode has done an amazing job of replicating the pistol from the newest Cyberpunk title.
The others we found weren’t as detailed, and they were only cyberpunk-inspired instead of actual replicas, so we went with only one gun.
Miscellaneous
You can also add visual and graphical mods to get more realistic and more modern graphics from GTA V. These are all of the mods you can use:
- VisualV
- Natural Vision Remastered
- Visual Vanilla
- Faith Connors Mirrors Edge
- Sci-fi Hover Bike – motorcycle.
This does make a difference, but they will be very performance-demanding. If you don’t have a killer PC, I suggest not installing these.
The aforementioned mods will help you make GTA V look like Cyberpunk 2077. You might find other mods that will also be a great addition to these. Have fun!
