It Take Two: How to Climb Helltower

It Takes Two is quite an interesting game. It doesn’t seem that long ago when Hazelight Studios had us break out of prison. So, compared to that, this game really isn’t anything bonkers. Still, being transformed to a miniature figure and conquering the world like that is a bigger task than expected. There are so many mini games, and so much that you can explore.

One interesting place is the Helltower. Not many have lived to tell the tale of what is at the top. While it may be challenging to get on the top, there is one spot that is truly tricky for players.

Let’s dive in, and show you how to get on the top of the tower!

How to Get on the Top of Helltower

1. To activate the Helltower, two players must jump and ground pound at the two buttons at the same time.
2. Start climbing on to the platforms, and once you get on the third platform, it will get tricky.
3. The next platform will come out on only two sides, and won’t rotate. Simply, wait for the perfect moment to jump.
4. Next one is the same platform as before, so you have to have great timing, and be quick.
5. The part that most get stuck is the next platform. Here, jump on the platform and there will be two flaps moving from one side to the other.
6. When the insides face each other, jump to one side, and DON’T release the jump button.
7. When they face each other again, jump to the other side and hold the jump button again.
8. Repeat this until you get to the next platforms.

After that point, the platforms will be similar to the ones at the bottom.

Like I said, the most tricky part of the tower is the two flaps going from one to the other side. You have to make sure you jump to them when the insides are facing each other.

The outsides have holes like a door would have, and hinges where they connect to the Helltower. That is the best way to know which are the insides and outsides.

It Takes Two was released on March 26^th of 2021, and it is available on multiple platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and X, and PC!
