October is almost over, and fans thought that Overwatch would be skipping the Halloween event, but it looks like Blizzard has decided to make a last-minute announcement.
Here’s a look at Overwatch 2’s Halloween Terror 2022:
Earn creepy cosmetics, complete spine-tingling co-op missions, and experience the next chapter in the Junkenstein’s Revenge saga!
While we would be getting access to skins from previous Halloween events, we’re also promised some new skins for several heroes like Kiriko and Junker Queen. There are also a bunch of different cosmetics to expect; and I’m assuming the heavy appearance of Bastion in the trailer is the developers saying he’ll be back in the game soon.
Though the topic of loot boxes was a big issue before, it seems that this Battle Pass format has come with its own set of snags. As someone who played the first game, it’s kind of a bummer that I can’t find a way to get any of the cosmetics I want without paying money, but I am hoping that the Halloween Terror event will provide a lot of chances to get limited items that I want.

Overwatch 2’s Halloween Terror will run from Oct. 25–Nov. 8. Overwatch is currently playable for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4|5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
