New PS5, PS4, PSVR Games Coming This Week: August 16th - August 20th - Player Assist

So many games, so little time.

It’s a fairly busy week on the PlayStation Store with a bunch of new releases. But what new games are coming this week? Are there are new PSVR games? Is it worth creeping out from under the Monday morning covers to peek at what’s going on? Yes!

New PS5, PS4, PSVR Games Coming This Week: August 16th - August 20th

This week sees Sony re-package and re-release Ghost of Tsushima as Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut, bundling in some new DLC with the original game, as well as a range of improvements on PS5. Mind you, this is most definitely a paid upgrade if you already own the PS4 version. If you want to play the game on PS5 and have the best possible version, you’re going to have to stump up a tenner.

On PSVR we’ve got Fracked blasting and booming its way onto the headset. It’s good fun, too, and you’ll find our review today (Monday, August 16th) at 6PM CEST, so be sure to keep an eye out here on Pure PlayStation or go to our YouTube channel to watch the review when it’s live.

Tetris Effect: Connected is also coming out this week as a free update to all players. The new Connected update brings cross-play support, which is cool, as well as a bunch of new features.

Racing fans are represented by RiMS Racing, a new simulation motorcycle racing game that promises more depth than any other racing game out there. I’m inclined to agree, and you can find out why with my RiMS Racing preview from earlier this summer.
