In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, the player is urged to make one of the franchise’s most famous lines, “Gotta catch ’em all,” a reality as a member of the Survey Corps who have been tasked with studying all that they possibly can about the Pokemon located in the Hisui region, which will eventually be renamed Sinnoh in the modern Pokemon universe. Furthermore, the legendary Arceus will also task the player with a personal mission to meet all of Hisui’s Pokemon. Because of this, the player must be familiar with every Pokemon in the game.
This guide will discuss everything you need to know about Hisuian Lilligant!
Hisuian Lilligant
Hisuian Lilligant, the 94th Pokemon in the Hisuian Pokedex, is a Grass and Fighting type Pokemon, and the Hisuian version of Lilligant is introduced in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Hishuian Lilligant has a thinner build than the regular Unovan Lilligant, with a few color and leaf size variations all over its body.
According to its Pokedex entry in the game, Hisuian Lilligant has long and powerful legs suspected of having developed because of living in the snowy mountains of Hisui. Also, it states that the flower on Hisuian Lilligant’s head releases a scent that causes anyone nearby to experience a heartened feeling.
Basic Information
Hisuian Lilligant is a Grass and Fighting-type Pokemon, which means that it is weak (super effective) to Fairy-type, Fire-type, Ice-type, Poison-type, Psychic-type, and especially Flying-type moves and resistant (not very effective) to Dark-type, Electric-type, Grass-type, Ground-type, Rock type, and Water-type moves.
Hisuian Lilligant’s base stats are 70 HP, 105 Attack, 75 Defense, 50 Special Attack, 75 Special Defense, and 105 Speed, for a total of 480.
It can be evolved from a Petilil by using a Sun Stone.
Hisuian Lilligant prefers Springy Mushrooms and Crunchy Salts, which, like berries, can be tossed at to either feed or distract it, allowing it to be caught or battled unawares.
When a Hisuian Lilligant is caught or defeated, the player receives a King’s Leaf and Lum Berry, which it drops.
Location
Unfortunately, the player will not be able to find a Hisuian Lilligant in the wild. Hence, the only way the player can catch a Hisuian Lilligant is by evolving a Petilil using a Sun Stone.
The player, however, will encounter a Hisuian Lilligant in the “Arezu’s Predicament” Mission, the eighth mission in the game where the player is tasked to quell the frenzy of the Lady of the Ridge Hisuian Lilligant. Still, the player will not be able to catch the Hisuian Lilligant in this mission.
Research Tasks
The following are the Research Tasks in Hisuian Lilligant’s Pokedex entry in Pokemon Legends: Arceus:
Multiplier | Research Task | Objectives |
x2 | Number caught | 1/2/3/4/5 |
Times you’ve seen it use Petal Dance | 1/3/6/12/25 | |
x2 | Times you’ve seen it use Victory Dance | 1/3/8/20/40 |
x2 | Times you’ve seen it use an agile style move | 1/3/8/20/40 |
A Pokemon’s Pokedex entry has to achieve Research Level 10 to be considered finished. Once a Research Task objective is fulfilled, a Pokemon’s Pokedex entry’s Research Level increases by one level unless the Research Task objective has a multiplier of x2, in which instance achieving one of its objectives gives two Research Levels rather than only one. Completing Pokedex entries and Research Task objectives will grant the player Research Points, which can raise the player’s Star Rank in the Galaxy Team if enough has been earned.

To quickly complete Hisuian Lilligant’s Pokedex entry, the player can catch one by evolving a Petilil using a Sun Stone, then use it in battle and Victory Dance in Agile Style three times. Performing these will tick the first objective of the “Number caught” Research Task, which grants two Research Levels because of its x2 multiplier; tick the first and second objectives of the “Times you’ve seen it use Victory Dance” Research Task to get four more Research Levels also because of its x2 multiplier, and tick the first and second objective of the “Times you’ve seen it use an agile style move” Research Task to gain the last four Research Levels needed, also thanks to its x2 multiplier, to reach Research Level 10 and complete its Pokedex entry.
