As an important member of the Survey Corps in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, the player will be part of the Galaxy Expedition Team in discovering more about the Pokemon living in the Hisui region.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus Ultimate Mime Jr. Guide

The player’s goal in the game is to catch every Pokemon species present in the area to complete the Hisui Pokedex. In addition, the player is directed to locate and encounter each Pokemon in the area by the all-powerful Arceus.

This guide will discuss everything you need to know about Mime Jr. in Pokemon Legends: Arceus!

Mime Jr.

Mime Jr., the 76th Pokemon in the Hisuian Pokedex, is a Psychic and Fairy-type Mime Pokemon that has a small pink body, round and black eyes with white pupils, a large red nose similar to a clown’s, a small mouth, a blue, crooked hat on top of its head with a small white sphere on the tip of the hat, a pair of slim arms with stubby hands, a red circle in the middle of its chest, and a pair of stubby legs.

According to its Pokedex entry in the game, Mime Jr. can sometimes be seen in busy marketplaces and mimic people like a child would then watch the people’s reactions with sparkling eyes.

Basic Information

Mime Jr. is a Psychic and Fairy-type Pokemon. It is weak (super effective) to Ghost-type, Poison-type, and Steel-type moves, resistant (not very effective) to Psychic-type and especially Fighting-type moves, and immune (no effect) to Dragon-type moves.

Mime Jr.’s base stats are 20 HP, 25 Attack, 45 Defense, 70 Special Attack, 90 Special Defense, and 60 Speed.

Mime Jr. can be evolved into a Mr. Mime once Mime Jr. has learned the move Mimic.

Springy Mushrooms, Dazzling Honey, Hearty Grains, and Plump Beans are Mime Jr.’s preferred foods. These foods and berries can be used as both food and a distraction before catching or battling Mime Jr. unawares.

When a wild Mime Jr. is defeated or caught, the player receives a Spoiled Apricorn and a Chesto Berry.

Location

The player can only find a Mime Jr. in the following area:

In the Obsidian Fieldlands: southwest of the Horseshoe Plains and slightly south of Sandgem Flats.

The player can only find Mime Jr. in the following area all-day and in every weather condition.

The player may also find a Mime Jr. in Massive Mass Outbreaks in the Obsidian Fieldlands and the Coronet Highlands.

Research Tasks

The following are the Research Tasks in Mime Jr.’s Pokedex entry in Pokemon Legends: Arceus:

MultiplierResearch TaskObjectives
x2Number caught1/2/3/4/5
Number you have caught without being spotted1/2/3/4/5
Times you have seen it use Mimic1/3/6/12/25
x2Times you have given it food1/2/3/4/5
x2Number you have evolved1/2/3

A Pokedex entry’s Research Level rises by one level each time one of a Research Task’s objectives is met. The Pokedex entry gains two Research Levels rather than one after completing a Research Task objective with an x2 multiplier.

A Pokemon’s Pokedex entry is deemed finished once it reaches Research Level 10. The player also gains Research Points for completing Pokedex entries and Research Task objectives.  If the player earns enough Research Points, their Star Rank in the Galaxy Team will rise.

To quickly complete Mime Jr.’s Pokedex entry, the player can find one and feed it food or berries five times. Doing that will tick the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth objectives of the “Times you have given it food” Research Task.
