Toxicroak
Toxicroak, the 100th Pokemon in the Hisuian Pokedex, is a Poison and Fighting-type Toxic Mouth Pokemon with a dark blue and teal body that resembles a poison dart frog, a curled spike on its head, a pair of bright yellow eyes with small pupils similar to a snake’s, a mouth that resembles a mouth guard with a long red, curled upper lip, a bulbous red vocal sac on its chin, a pair of arms with two black rings on its forearms, three fingers on each hand, and one large claw on the back of each hand, a pair of legs with three toes on each foot with the middle toe colored red and a spike on its heels, two white lines on its pelvic area, and black lines on the sides of its body and surrounding its limbs that go up into its face around and in between the eyes.
Toxicroak’s red claws, according to its Pokedex entry in the game, contain poisonous toxins that can be made into a tonic by diluting it, mixing it with other types of wild grass, and boiling it for two days.
Basic Information
Toxicroak is a Poison and Fighting-type Pokemon. Hence, it has a weakness to Ground-type, Flying-type, and especially Psychic-type moves (super effective) and resistance to Bug-type and, especially, Dark-type, Fighting-type, Grass-type, Poison-type, and Rock-type moves (not very effective).
Toxicroak’s base stats are 83 HP, 106 Attack, 65 Defense, 86 Special Attack, 65 Special Defense, and 85 Speed, for a total of 490.
Toxicroak can be evolved from Croagunk once it reaches Level 37.
Springy Mushrooms, Dazzling Honey, Hearty Grains, and Plump Beans are among Toxicroak’s preferred foods. Toxicroak can be lured or fed with these foods, in addition to berries, allowing it to be captured or battled while unaware of the player.
When a Toxicroak is caught or defeated in the wild, it drops a Tumblestone and a Ball of Mud, which the player will receive.
Location
To find a Toxicroak, the player can head to these areas:
In the Crimson Mirelands: northwest of Holm of Trials.
More in the Cobalt Coastlands: around Spring Path.
Lastly, in the Coronet Highlands: in Ancient Quarry
It is important to mention that the player can find an Alpha Toxicroak northeast of Holm of Trials in the Crimson Mirelands. The Alpha Pokemon that can be found here is a Level 47 Pokemon.
Toxicroak can be encountered in these areas at all times of the day and in every weather condition.
Also, the player may find a group of Toxicroaks in Massive Mass Outbreaks in the Crimson Mirelands.
Research Tasks
The following are the Research Tasks in Toxicroak’s Pokedex entry:

A Research Task objective can be accomplished to gain one Research Level, and a Research Task objective with an x2 multiplier can be accomplished to gain two. A Pokemon’s Pokedex entry must reach Research Level 10 to be considered complete.
Completing Pokedex entries and accomplishing Research Task objectives will earn the player Research Points. If there are enough of them, it will raise the player’s Star Rank in the Galaxy Team.
To quickly complete Toxicroak’s Pokedex entry, the player can catch two Toxicroaks, defeat one using a Psychic type move, then use one in battle and Venoshock three times. These will fulfill the first and second objectives of the “Number caught” Research Task to gain four Research Levels because of its x2 multiplier, fulfill the first objective of the “Number defeated” Research Task to gain one Research Level, tick the first objective of the
Research Task to gain one more Research Level, and fulfill the first and second objective of the “Times you have seen it use Venoshock” Research Task to get four Research Levels, also thanks to its x2 multiplier, to reach Research Level 10.
