Elixirs are similar to potions that give Link different abilities and improvements every time he drinks one. How to Make Elixirs
The most basic recipe to remember is to cook critters and monster parts together in a cooking pot to cook up Elixirs.

Cooking Pot
Link must find a cooking pot to cook meals or brew elixirs. Link can generally find cooking pots in stables and settlements around Hyrule.
