Link must fulfill the following to finish the Makasura Shrine and acquire a Light of Blessing:
- First, head down the stairs to find a large room with a tall platform. On top of a platform is a see-through ledge. Go towards the wall of the platform. Hold the L button and use the right stick to select the Ascend ability on the wheel’s top part. Move Link so that the target above is glowing green, then press the A button to head up. Once through the see-through ledge, press the A button to emerge on top.
- Then, continue to the left to find a large gap. Before this gap, there is a long metal slab. This slab has a thinner slab upright on one end and a Zonai Stabilizer on the other. Strike the Zonai Stabilizer once to set the whole slab upright.
- Next, press the L button to ready the Ascend ability. Move Link so that he is under the thinner platform on the slab. Ensure the target is glowing green, then press the A button to use the Ascend ability. Once on top, press the A button again to come out. From here, face the gap and jump, then glide to reach the platform across the gap.
- Then, on this part of the Shrine, Link will find a socket for a glowing orb and a closed gate on the right. On the left, Link will find a very high gate. Go straight ahead, and Link will find the shrine’s altar across a large gap. Before this gap, there was another Zonai Stabilizer and slab structure.
- Hold the L button and use the right stick to select the Ultrahand ability on the wheel’s right side. Aim on the Zonai Stabilizer and slab structure and press the A button to grab it. Bring this contraption near the high gate on the left and press the B button to let go of it.
- After that, strike the Zonai Stabilizer to activate it and let the whole thing stand upright. Hold the L button again and select the Ascend ability with the right stick. Move Link so that the target above is glowing green on the ledge on top of the gadget. Press the A button to head up, then, once on top, press the A button again to come out. From here, jump towards the ledge atop the high gate, then drop down the other side.
- Link will find a long slab on this part of the room with a large bowl attached. There is also a Zonai Stabilizer on one side of the room and a glowing orb in one corner. Link will also find a slightly tall platform on the wall ahead with a treasure chest on top. Hold the L button and use the right stick to select the Ultrahand ability again.
- Aim on the Zonai Stabilizer and press the A button to grab it. Bring the Zonai Device to the metal slab on the opposite side of the large bowl. At the end of the slab, press the A button again to attach the squared side of the Zonai Stabilizer to the middle of the edge of the metal slab.
- Then, press the L button again to ready the Ultrahand ability and aim at the new Zonai Stabilizer contraption. Hold the R button and use the directional buttons to rotate it. The whole contraption should be rotated 180 degrees horizontally. This means the Zonai Stabilizer should be near the wall with a slightly tall platform.
- Next, let Link stand on the large bowl and strike the contraption to activate the Zonai Stabilizer. This will make the Zonai Device stand upright, and the contraption works like a catapult. Because of that, the catapult will throw Link up the slightly taller platform. Open the chest to get a Fairy Tonic.
- Then, drop down the elevated platform and strike the contraption again to deactivate the Zonai Stabilizer. This will cause the contraption to topple down. Press the L button again to ready the Ultrahand ability and aim at the catapult. Hold the R button and use the directional buttons to rotate it. Set the catapult in the middle of the room with the right side up and the Zonai Stabilizer near the high gate.
- After that, press the L button again to ready the Ultrahand ability and aim at the glowing orb. Press the A button to grab it and place it in the large bowl of the catapult. Once ready, strike the Zonai Stabilizer to activate it. This will cause the catapult to throw the glowing orb above the high gate and onto the previous part of the room.
- If everything goes correctly, the glowing orb will roll toward the glowing orb socket. If not, Link can just head there later, pick it up, and drop it on the socket. Once it is in the glowing orb socket, the gate on the right will open and reveal another long slab with a large bowl attached.
- Then, approach the high gate, hold the L button, and use the right stick to select the Ascend ability. Move Link so that the target above is glowing green on the top ledge of the gate. Once able, press the A button to ascend, then, on top, press the A button again to emerge.
- Next, drop down on the other side and enter the newly-opened gate. Hold the L button again and select the Ultrahand ability with the right stick. Aim on the long slab with a bowl and press the A button to grab it. Bring this slab near the gap before the altar of the shrine.
- Strike the Zonai Stabilizer of the contraption used to reach the top of the high gate to deactivate it. Once it is toppled down, press the L button again to ready the Ultrahand ability and aim at the toppled contraption. Press the A button to grab and bring it near the gap before the altar.
- Hold the R button and use the directional buttons to rotate the contraption. Ensure that the thin ledge on top of the contraption is on top, and the Zonai Stabilizer is near the edge of the gap.
- Then, press the L button to ready the Ultrahand ability again and aim at the slab with the bowl. Press the A button to grab it and bring the side without the bowl to the end of the contraption with the thin ledge. Once there, press the A button to attach them. Link has now created a longer catapult.
- After that, let Link stand in the large bowl and strike the contraption. This will activate the Zonai Stabilizer and set the catapult upright. Doing so will throw Link across the gap. Near the platform with the altar, press the X button to use the Paraglider to glide down safely.
- Finally, go to the altar and press the A button to interact with the green symbol. Link will then acquire a Light of Blessing!
