To have this achievement’s tasks be available to you, you need to complete a world quest in Watatsumi Island that involves the same NPC. This quest is called the Divine Plant of the Depths. To know how to complete the said world quest, read our guide for it by clicking this link.
The Spiritherbs’ Fortune
This achievement is about asking Granny Komaki for your fortune on that day, and she will tell you what the Spiritherbs foretold as the clues for the treasure. Each day will lead you to different locations in Watatsumi Island, and some will even trigger other hidden world quests in the region.
Right after completing the Divine Plant of the Depths quest, Komaki will give you clues to the first treasure for this hidden commission series.
Day 1: Spiritherbs’ Fortune in the Lucky High Place
Step 1: Talk to Komaki.
You ask Komaki for your fortune, and today it says:
“Hmm… From the pattern of the Spiritherbs’ leaves… You will have good fortune. You will find that fortune at the highest point in Watatsumi Island, in an ancient place dedicated to the gods.”
Step 2: Go to the highest point on Watatsumi Island.
Despite feeling bluffed, Paimon still agreed to go and find that treasure. The clue is the “highest point in Watatsumi Island, in an ancient place dedicated to the gods,” which means the Mouun Shrine, so you must return to that place and look for your fortune.
Step 3: Solve the puzzle.
To get the treasure in Mouun Shrine, you will have to solve a puzzle that involves Electro Seelies. The first one you will notice is the one under the fallen roof of the shrine. Follow it to the back of the shrine, and it will turn into an ancient stone lampstand called the Electric Lamp.
The next Electro Seelie is on top of the shrine’s roof.
The last two Electro Seelies are on top of the torii gate right in front of the shrine. These two are easy to miss due to their color and the color of the sky.
Get close to these two, and they will quickly move to their designated spots before turning into Electric Lamps.
After the last two Electro Seelies have gone to their places, a common chest will appear.
Day 2: Spiritherbs’ Fortune in the Cave of Ill Fortune
Step 1: Talk to Komaki.
You ask Komaki for your fortune, and today, it says:
“The Spiritherbs say that… you will have ill fortune. You will have an unfortunate and unexpected encounter in a cave south of Watatsumi Island – a hive of scum and villainy.
However… overcoming ill fate may yet bring you an unexpected boon.”
When asked if “boon” means treasure, Komaki said she did not say it would be that, but she also said she did not say it would not cvv vcasfbegrevbfwbe that either.
Step 2: Go to the cave.
The cave mentioned in the clue Granny Komaki gave is the one southwest of Bourou Village. You can travel to the Teleport Waypoint near the village and then glide southwest.
The cave faces the sea, and there are wooden crates and broken carts by its entrance.
Step 3: Defeat the opponents.
When you enter the cave and investigate the items found there, Treasure Hoarders will start appearing and attack you. Specters will also begin pop out of nowhere, and you have to defeat them all.
Step 4: Check the Treasure Hoarder’s Notes.
On one of the crates in the cave, you will find an item called Treasure Hoarder’s Notes. Written on it is a long log about treasures buried on Watatsumi Island by a pirate named Rinzou.
Some pages of the log read:
“…This used to be where the great pirate Rinzou stored his treasure. The lads moved the last few chests out…”
“…Rinzou was a cunning man in life, though, and he left all manner of special symbols on the island…”
“…It might be a smokescreen, or there might really be treasure. But we’ll only find out if we go there and see for ourselves…”
“… We’ve found some of those symbols. Well, time waits for no one. Best we go dig up Rinzou’s full hoard!”
NOTE: Interacting with the Treasure Hoarder’s Note will trigger the hidden task of finding Rinzou’s treasures, which will unlock an achievement titled “Long John Silver.” To know all the locations of Rinzou’s treasures on Watatsumi Island, you can read our guide for it by clicking this link.
Day 3: Spiritherbs’ Fortune in the Pool of Good Luck
Step 1: Talk to Komaki.
You ask Komaki for your fortune, and today, it says:
“The Spiritherbs say that… you will have good luck.
A gentle Electro Seelie will guide your path near the deep pool in the center of Watatsumi Island, just below the Sangonomiya Shrine.”
She added that the fortune should be genuine and that these divinations have always been very accurate. But for Paimon, the more the old woman says that, the more Paimon thinks she is getting suspicious.
Step 2: Go to Watasumi Island’s Deep Pool.
Travel to the Teleport Waypoint on Sangonomiya Shrine, and you will be transferred to the cliff by the deep pool. From there, glide down a little to the south, and behind the waterfall is where you can find the Electro Seelie that Granny Komaki told you about.
Step 3: Follow the Electro Seelie.
Go near the Electro Seelie for it to start moving. It will transfer to the other side of the pool and then move to the upper areas. Make sure to look where it moves so you can immediately follow it until it reaches its final resting place.
This Electro Seelie’s final spot is on a clam sticking out of the stone pillar just below the Teleport Waypoint.
You will earn a Common chest for this day’s fortune.
Day 4: Spiritherbs’ Fortune in the Unlucky Shrine
Step 1: Talk to Komaki
You ask Komaki for your fortune, and today, it says:
“Hmm. The Spiritherbs say that this will be an unfortunate day.
The ruined shrine in the east is shrouded in an ominous aura…
However…
Those who boldly go forth and conquer such omens will receive their just reward.”
When you questioned the fortune for sounding quite similar to what Komaki said before, she told you that life is like that; new experiences always cloak themselves in familiar-seeming days.
Step 2: Go to the ruined shrine.
The location for this day’s treasure is the small island on the far eastern part of Watatsumi Island. It is the one with a Teleport Waypoint on it, so you can click on that to get to the area.
Step 3: Defeat the opponents.
When you drop down from the small click, you will find a ruin of a small shrine with a sealed Common Chest in front of it.
A Bounty Hunter Ronin, along with a Fatui Mirror Maiden and two Kikouban Nobushis, will appear and start attacking you because, as he said, they, too, are people on a mission. They are also after the treasure hidden on this island.
After defeating the enemies, the seal around the Common Chest will be lifted, and you can collect its contents.
Day 5: Spiritherbs’ Fortune in the Ancient City
Step 1: Talk to Komaki
You ask Komaki for your fortune, and she tells you that the Spiritherbs’ light is relatively weak at the moment and shall need some rest. All the same, Komaki tells you that she can help you perform another divination.
She tells you that the twinkling of the Spiritherbs says you shall have good fortune. However, you must open for her a great gate and return her to her nest of sweet slumber before the fated reward can be yours. In ruins to the northeast, in the ancient city that stands alone amidst the sea, a lingering spirit of mourning will light the way.
Paimon got confused with the mention of a gate, an ancient city, and some nests. But Granny Komaki just laughed at her and said it was alright and that she would remain in the same spot in the village if she could not figure out what the clues of the fortune meant.
Step 2: Go to the ancient city.
The location of the last treasure is the Suigetsu Pool, and to get to the area, you can click on the Palace in a Pool domain and teleport to it.
Step 3: Solve the divination riddle.
From the underground area or the bottom of the pool, summon an Electrograna so you can ride the Thunder Spheres up to the surface.
Once there, look for the Mysterious Pillar and interact with it by selecting “Pay respects at the statue.” Doing this will have the Thunder Spheres disappear, save for one at the center.
Moving closer to the pool, you will see an Electro Seelie at the center. This is the one that you should follow to get the last treasure.
The Electro Seelie will first move in front of the domain’s door, into the underground ruin, and then to the first section to the left.
From here, it will enter the room on the right through the window above the wall.
Climb through the said window to follow the Electro Seelie.
From this point, you might wonder where Seelie has gone. It went to the upper floor, into the hidden room above.
To get to that room, you need to rotate the Phase Gate nearby for it to be activated and then pass through. You will be transported to the room where the Electro Seelie went.
When you arrive at the other Phase Gate, the Electro Seelie will make its last move to reach its final resting place. This will trigger the prompt that you have unlocked the achievement “As You Wish – Have your fortune told 5 times by Granny Komaki while obtaining an ideal result.“
In the room where the Electro Seelie has settled, you will find 1 Common Chest, 1 Exquisite Chest, and 1 Precious Quest.
