The Attack on Titan crossover may have just given some new skins to some classic monsters in Dead by Daylight, but players are in for a new monster with the Resident Evil content that is dubbed Project W.
Check out Albert Wesker, The Mastermind:
We do not have any details on Wesker’s skill set yet, but the trailer suggests he could be all about those tentacles of his. I would not be surprised if zombies also became a factor regarding his abilities.
Besides Wesker, we also have two new survivors as RE vets, Ada Wong and Rebecca Chambers. We do not know their skillset yet, but it’s possible we could get a more extensive reveal down the line—probably when Behaviour Interactive is ready to announce the release date.
This is my guess, but I imagine they would release something around October—perfect for the Halloween season.
Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer action horror game where one player takes on the role of a brutal Killer and the other four play as Survivors. As a Killer, your goal is to sacrifice as many Survivors as possible. As Survivors, your goal is to work together to evade, escape, and most importantly – stay alive.
No release date for Resident Evil: Project W has been set, but I guess a 2022 release seems possible. Dead by Daylight is now playable for PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Android, and iOS.
