Forza Horizon 5 features a variety of races in a myriad of environments and road conditions. In the Horizon, you will find yourself racing on either dry pavement or a dirt track. You might even race in tracks with a combination of both.

Top 10 Most Powerful S1 Track Toys in Forza Horizon 5

If you have ever wondered which cars make up the Top 10 fastest S1 Performance Class Track Toys? You’ve come to the right place.

S1 Performance Class

Forza Horizon 5 categorizes cars in-game through a Performance Class Filter. There are currently six different Performance Classes in Forza Horizon 5. The Performance Classes are:

  1. D Class
  2. C Class
  3. B Class
  4. A Class
  5. S1 Class
  6. S2 Class

Today we take a closer look at the top cars that represent the S1 Performance Class in Forza Horizon 5.

Why the S1 Performance Class? We chose the S1 Performance Class as we believe that these cars represent the best of the best of them all in terms of handling, power, price, and feel.

You might be wondering why we think that the S1 class is better than the S2 Class when the S2 class is faster. You would be right. However, the S1 class represents the pinnacle of Forza Horizon 5 physics without going overboard, which the S2 Performance Class is. The cars in the S1 Performance Class feel more “simulator-like” without feeling arcadey like the S2 cars. S2 cars end up feeling like they’re riding on rails.

Track Toys

Cars in Forza Horizon 5 are categorized by Car Type. Today we will focus on the S1 Performance Class under the Track Toys category.

As the name suggests, Track Toys are cars in Forza Horizon 5 that are track-ready versions of normal production sports cars. These cars have tons of power as well as aerodynamic bodywork, which help with overall handling.

Track Toys are some of the fastest circuit cars in Forza Horizon 5 bar the S2 Performance Class. A-Class cars tuned to the max often end up in Class S1 as well.

Top 10 S1 Track Toys in Forza Horizon 5

We have compiled ten of the most powerful “Track Toys” in Forza Horizon 5. These are the cream of the crop of the S1 Performance Class in terms of raw power output. Of course, because these cars are given the “Track Toys” moniker in-game, they feature aerodynamic upgrades as well as other track-spec parts that help put all that power to the ground.

10. Ford Shelby GT350R

10 2

Squeeking its way into the Top 10 is a track-focused version of the “regular” Ford Mustang, the Ford Shelby GT350R.

Shelby is the long-time performance partner of Ford Motor Company, much like how Nismo is for Nissan. However, Shelby is still a separate entity and only provides limited production-run collaborations with Ford.

Their newest collaboration spawned a track monster in the Ford Mustang GT350R. The 5.2-liter flat-crank V8 produces 526 horsepower and 429 ft-lbs of torque. Thanks to its flat-plane crank, many enthusiasts regard the Ford Shelby Mustang GT350R as having one of the greatest sounding V8s in automotive history.

9. McLaren 600LT Coupe

9 3

The McLaren 600LT made it to ninth place on our Top 10 Track Toys list.

The McLaren 600LT is a track-focused version of the already competitive McLaren 570S Coupe. The most notable changes with the McLaren 600LT are the increased overall length due to the massive front splitter and the new rear wing.

Power has also been increased from 562 horsepower in the McLaren 570S to 591 horsepower in the McLaren 600LT. One other notable change includes a minor weight saving of 10 kg.

8. Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR 2008

5 3

Following the “Track Toys” trend of this list, Dodge gave its Viper supercar a track-worthy makeover which spawned the Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR.

The Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR is a track-ready Viper with upgraded suspension, brake kit, and lightweight rims. A large rear wing and road illegal front spoiler are also part of the package. Owners will have to unbolt the front spoiler to make the car road legal. Dodge was pushing boundaries by making the already beastly Viper more monstrous in the Viper SRT10 ACR.

However, total power is unchanged from the regular Dodge Viper, which means that the Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR produces the expected 600 horsepower and 560 ft-lbs of torque from its humongous 8.4-liter V10 engine.

7. Porsche 911 GT2 RS 2012

8 3

Number seven on our list is Porsche’s twin-turbocharged track weapon, the Porsche 911 GT2 RS.

The GT2 RS represents the pinnacle of what Porsche can extract from its legendary 911 platform. The 2012 Porsche 911 GT2 RS has the most powerful engine in the 911 lineup.

The Porsche 911 GT2 RS features a 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six that produces 611 horsepower and 516 ft-lbs of torque. That might not sound like much compared to some of the other cars on this list, but don’t be fooled; the GT2 RS only weighs 1370 kg.

6. Lamborghini Huracan Performante

6 3

Lamborghinis have always been regarded as some of the fastest cars on the planet in a straight line. However, this all changed since the release of the big bad Lamborghini, the Lamborghini Aventador.

Since then, Lamborghini has consistently released more competitive iterations of their usual showroom offerings in the Aventador and the Huracan.

Number six on our list is Lamborghini’s most competitive track-ready Huracan offering, the Huracan Performante. The Audi R8’s sibling features the same eargasmic 5.2-liter naturally-aspirated V10 engine, making 630 horsepower and 442 ft-lbs of torque.

5. Dodge Viper ACR 2016

Any Dodge Viper with ACR on its name will generally have an upgraded aero package that helps with cornering stability and downforce. ACR stands for American Club Racer, which is an appropriate name for Dodge’s most extreme Viper offering.

The Dodge Viper ACR features the Viper Signature 8.4-liter naturally-aspirated V10 engine that puts out 645 horsepower and 600 ft-lbs of torque, placing it at number five on our list.

4. Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE

4 2

It is no surprise that most of the high-powered cars on this list are American Muscle cars. The next car on this list continues the same trend and represents America’s insatiable thirst for high-horsepower pony cars.

The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE was The Golden Cross’ answer to the track-ready versions of its archrival, the Ford Shelby Mustang GT500. Naysayers who thought the Camaro wasn’t a good base car for the track were silenced with the arrival of the Camaro ZL1 1LE.

While the GT500 beats the Camaro ZL1 1LE in outright numbers, the Camaro is still no slouch. Chevrolet’s 6.2-liter Supercharged V8 now pumps out an earth-moving 650 horsepower and an equal 650 ft-lbs of torque.

3. Porsche 911 GT2 RS 2018

3 4

Nurburgring Nordschleife is the most popular track in the world. The 22.8-kilometer track is the most grueling and challenging track in existence; this claim is further hit home by the fact that most manufacturers engaged in the performance car category often test and develop their latest offerings on the Green Hell.

Number three on our most powerful Track Toys list is the record holder for the fastest production car on the Nordschleife: The 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS.

If you thought the 911 GT3 RS was mental, the 911 GT2 RS turns the dial to 11, packed with even more power and technology.

Porsche took the trusted and proven flat-six engine and slapped on not one but two turbocharges. The result is a ludicrous 691 horsepower and 553 ft-lbs of torque.

2. Ferarri 488 Pista

2 3

Ferarri’s V8 supercar always offers great handling characteristics and power that compliments the chassis well. It was always this secret sauce that made the Prancing Horse’s V8 lineup so attractive.

The Ferarri 488 Pista is Ferarri’s return to the forced induction powerplant, which was frowned upon by many purists who swear by the Ferrari NA V8. However, Ferarri realizes that there is no replacement for forced induction power.

The Ferrari 488’s 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 produces 711 horsepower and 567 ft-lbs of torque. Ferarri is cutting it close power-wise to the Prancing Horse’s Halo V12 offering.

1. Toyota Gumout 2JZ Camry Stock Car

1 9

We know, we know. The Camry Stock Car isn’t a production car. However, it is technically the most powerful “Track Toy” car in Forza Horizon 5. You guys haven’t forgotten about the title, right?

The Toyota Gumout 2JZ Camry Stock Car is powered by, well, a 2JZ. Car enthusiasts will automatically know what to expect when they find out that Toyota’s bulletproof straight-six engine is under the hood.

The Camry Stock car produces 850 horsepower and 740 ft-lbs of torque, making it the most powerful “Track Toy” car in Forza Horizon 5.

Track Toys Indeed

Track cars are often aerodynamically upgraded versions of an already existing base car. Aero upgrades such as front-lip spoilers, rear diffusers, and a gigantic rear wing are common upgrades to make a sports car more “track worthy.”

Track-prepped cars are generally more powerful, more stable, and overall faster lap for lap versus their stock counterparts, as they are designed to go as fast as possible around a track.

With that said, the ten cars on this list will most likely post the fastest lap times of any S1 Class car in Forza Horizon 5. If you’re a fan of circuit racing and are looking for the quickest base cars available for track use in Forza Horizon 5, then any of the ten cars listed above will be a great addition to your fleet of track monsters.
