Diablo Immortal: Season 3 Battle Pass Mini Update

Diablo Immortal’s Season 2 Battle Pass has recently concluded, giving way to the Season 3 Battle Pass, which runs from the 4th of August 2022 and runs until the 1st of September 2022 (server time).

For Season 3, Blizzard has also introduced a more regular update schedule that will add new content to Diablo Immortal more regularly in the future.

As with the previous Battle Pass seasons, players can expect to get Legendary Gems, Crests, Hilts, and other exciting loot from the Normal and Empowered Battle Pass options. On the other hand, the Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass brings in a pair of exclusive skins you won’t want to miss.

In addition, a new Daily Event has been added to the game, along with the return of a limited-time Event that some players might have missed in Season 2. We have outlined everything you need to know about the Season 3 Mini Update in this guide.

Mini and Major Updates

The Season 3 Battle Pass marks the beginning of a much more regular update cadence, which should see new updates every two weeks for Diablo Immortal.

This is generally good news for Diablo Immortal fans, as a bi-weekly content update will definitely fill the game with new in-game content to keep Diablo Immortal fans’ appetites full.

The updates will come in two flavors – Mini Updates and Major Updates.

Players can expect a content-centric update with Mini Updates, which includes Battle Pass seasons, new in-game events, additional features, and more.

On the other hand, Major Updates will come with new gameplay features, additional storyline expansions, and events, among many other planned content.

One thing to note, however, is that Blizzard has explicitly stated that they won’t be releasing future updates and content exclusively as a Mini or Major update and will instead release content as they see fit. Players can think of the Mini and Major update cadence as Blizzard’s way of being transparent with the player base in terms of their post-launch update schedule.

Season 3 Battle Pass: Aspect of Justice

Like the previous Season 2 Battle Pass for Diablo Immortal, the Season 3 Battle Pass features 40 ranks full of challenges and rewards to collect in-game.

In addition, players can still opt for one of three Battle Pass types – Normal Battle Pass, Empowered Battle Pass, or the Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass.

The Empowered Battle pass will arguably give players the most bang-for-buck as the Battle Pass features all of the normal Battle Pass rewards as well as additional rewards at every rank.

On the other hand, The Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass is available for those who want to get their hands on the following exclusive Aspect of Justice Armor cosmetic skins.

  • Aspect of Justice Weapon (Unlocks at Level 1 of the Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass)
  • Aspect of Justice Armor (Unlocks at level 40 of the Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass)

The Aspect of Justice Battle Pass runs from 4th August 2022 to 1st September 2022, which should be enough time for players to rank up through the Battle Pass and collect all the exciting rewards it offers.

New Wrathborne Invasion Daily Event

Season 3 also brings in a new daily event called the Wrathborne Invasion Daily Event.

The Wrathborne Invasion Daily Events will force players to work together to fight through the Wrathbornes hordes of elite demons and even Gorgothra herself.

Players can receive gear from completing the event, while the top three damage dealers will receive a special gift in the form of Enchanted Dust.

The event can be completed once daily at 12:00 p.m server time, with more events available through the Helliquary.

The Moon is still hungry – Hungering Moon Event

Players only had a few days to complete the Hungering Moon Limited-Time Event in Season 2, so Blizzard generously brought back the limited-time Event for a much-needed encore in Season 3.

A new set of exciting rewards await those who can collect enough Moonslivers from various challenges. Players can trade their Moonslivers for Blessings, which they can exchange for a random reward.

If you missed the first Hungering Moon Limited-time Event, make sure you don’t miss this one. As this might be the last time, the event becomes available in-game.

The event runs from August 12, 3:00 a.m. to August 15, 3:00 a.m. server time.

Seasonal Goodies

Blizzard kicks off Season 3 with a Mini Update which features a host of new Battle Pass rewards, a new Daily Event, and the return of a popular limited-time event.

With the Mini Update now out, fans can start looking forward to the Major Update, which should drop in the coming weeks.
