John Rambo himself may have appeared in the latest Mortal Kombat game, but Far Cry 6 is looking to pay tribute to the fictional war vet in this new Rambo Crossover Mission.

Complete this new free mission to unlock the exclusive Vengeance Bow to play in the main game. Join a Rambo superfan against the Yaran military in a blood-soaked rampage of vengeance straight out of an ‘80s action blockbuster, playable solo or in co-op.
Completing the mission will earn you a bow that fires an explosive arrow—dubbed the Vengeance Bow—that’s powerful enough to take down helicopters. Though you can get the VB free if you finish the mission, there is also a bundle that you can purchase that comes with special gear and a vehicle inspired by the Rambo films.
Though we know that incoming DLC will focus on old Far Cry antagonists, this will be the first one that crosses over to a different franchise. We don’t know what other over-the-top action film Ubisoft can pull from (maybe Predator, or James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad?) but this was surely a fun surprise for any ‘80s action fan.
