Pokemon Legends: Arceus is set in the old times in the Pokemon world when it was rare to find harmony between people and Pokemon. Set in the land of the Hisui region, known as the Sinnoh region in modern times, you will join the Galaxy Expedition Team (or just Galaxy Team for short) as a member of the Survey Corps stationed in Jubilife Village. You will be tasked to meet every species of Pokémon from the Hisui region to complete the region’s first-ever Pokédex.
The Galaxy Team will task the player to do missions in the game. Additionally, various people will also ask for help from the player in requests. One of these requests is Request 8, titled ‘Bothersome Bidoof.’ This guide will teach you how to complete the Bothersome Bidoof request.
Bothersome Bidoof
Before attempting to complete this request, it is essential to note that you would need to have one Bidoof in your party to do the tasks in this request. You can easily catch one near the Fieldlands Camp in the Obsidian Fieldlands just out the front gate. Or, if you already caught one, but it is not in your party, you can put previously caught Pokemon in your party by going to the Village Pastures, which is on the right side just over the bridge if you are facing the front gate.
Bothersome Bidoof is a request that the player will have early on in the game, and it can be started by heading to the front gate in Jubilife Village, where you will see a guard to the left of the gate named Tsumugi. While talking to her, she accidentally lets three Bidoofs into the village. This will start the request.
Now it is time to find the Bothersome Bidoofs!
One of the Bidoofs can be found in the southeastern part of Jubilife Village at the very end of the fence for the Village Pastures. You will find the Bidoof near a tree and facing the fence. All you have to do to catch it is go near it, and a cutscene will play where your character will throw out your Bidoof and bond with the bothersome one (even though that Bidoof is not doing anything). Then, Tsumugi will congratulate you on finding one.
After that, you can find another Bidoof at the right side of the Galaxy Hall near the first house on the right. The same with the previous Bidoof, all you have to do is go near it, and a cutscene will play where your character will throw out your Bidoof and bond with this other bothersome one (even though this Bidoof isn’t doing anything either). Then, Tsumugi will congratulate you on finding another one.
Finally, you can find the final bothersome Bidoof in the southwest part of the village behind the row of houses on the left side. This final Bidoof is near the house next to the fence. As with all the other Bidoofs, all you have to do is go near it, and a cutscene will play where your character will throw out your Bidoof again and let it bond with this final bothersome one (even though this Bidoof is also not doing anything). Then, Tsumugi will congratulate you on finding all of them!
After finishing this request, you will be rewarded with one Rare Candy, which can raise the level of one of your Pokemon by one.
Most importantly, instead of throwing them out of the village, the construction Corps will adopt the three Bidoofs to help out and gnaw on their woodwork. It looks like we got a happy ending for both Tsumugi and the Bothersome Bidoofs!
