Who doesn’t like fast cars? We love racing and acquiring cars as much as the next guy, but in Forza Horizon 5, the only way to acquire most of the most exotic and desirable cars is by purchasing them from the in-game Autoshow.
However, making money in Forza Horizon 5 can be pretty challenging. Most races will only give you a certain amount of credits regardless of how close the race was. Players will often have to play the same race more than once to acquire a steady stream of small income.
Fortunately, we have a few tricks we can show you to augment the paltry in-game credits rewards so you can finally buy that sweet Koenigsegg Jesko.
Wheelspin and Super Wheelspin
Wheelspin and Super Wheelspin are two of the most effective ways to acquire money, free cars, and other in-game items in Forza Horizon 5.
By far, the fastest way to acquire these Wheelspins is by purchasing a vehicle that features free wheelspin under its skill tree. The cheapest car with free wheelspin unlock under its skill tree is the 1987 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM GTA.
The Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA is very cheap at only 25,000 credits each. You are going to make back each of the 25,000 credits you spend on every Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA you purchase just from the Super Wheelspins that it provides.
14 Skill points are all you need to acquire a Super Wheelspin from the Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA. Buying multiple instances of this very same car will give you a free Wheelspin and Super Wheelspin.
However, we will need a lot of Skill Points to keep acquiring Super Wheelspins from every Firebird Trans Am we purchase.
How to Acquire Skill Points Fast
Buying the Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA is easy; however, to spam the Super Wheelspins from each Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA you buy, you will need 14 Skill Points for every car.
Because of this, we are going to have to farm and hoard a significant amount of skill points to be able to spam the Super Wheelspin rewards.
This method can help you farm the skill points you need by going to a specific community race:
- Go to the main menu by pressing ESC on your keyboard.
- Click on Creative Hub.
- Click on Eventlab.
- Click on Event Blueprints.
- Click on Search at the bottom part of the screen.
- Click on Share Code at the bottom-most part of the list.
- Copy this code.
The code will take you to this community-made race named 10SP in 30S AUTO 3.0. This community race will reward players with a quick and easy 10 Skill Points every thirty seconds of gameplay.
To make things even spicier, the race can be played again and again without leaving the event. Each playthrough will reward players with 10 Skill Points that stacks for every time they play this race.
To make this race easier, simply copy these driver-assist settings:
You can start the game and simply hold the throttle button on your Keyboard or gamepad. The auto-steering will do all of the work for you.
Keep playing custom race, again and again, to gather enough Skill Points for however many Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA you want to purchase. Take note that you will need 14 Skill Points for each Firebird Trans Am.
Forza Edition Cars Give More XP
Using cars with the Forza Edition tag will net you even more XP per play on the community map. The Forza Edition cars give players additional XP whenever they drive around the map or take part in events.
The BMW X5 M Forza Edition is a great car to use on the 10SP in 30S AUTO 3.0 map. However, you can use just about any car with the Forza Edition tag.
Claiming Super Wheelspins from the Pontiac Firebird Trans Am
Once you have farmed enough Skill Points from the event mentioned above, we can now go and buy the Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA.
After purchasing the Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA, open the main menu once again:
- Go to Cars and select Car Mastery.
Upgrade the Pontiac Firebird Trans Am’s skill tree using this sequence:
- Fan Favorite
- Duck and Weave
- Smash and Grab
- Kansei Dorifuto
- Too Soon Junior
- What’s Not To Like?
You can get an Instant Super Wheelspin right after you unlock the What’s Not To Like? skill.
You can just keep spamming the custom event mentioned above using a Forza Edition car to collect multiple Skill Points. Keep selling and buying new Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTAs to keep unlocking Super Wheelspins.
The money you make from selling the used Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTAs and the money you get from the Super wheelspins will be more than enough to be able to continue to purchase multiple Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTAs and keep extracting the Super Wheelspins from its Skill Tree.
Just rinse and repeat.
Money Money Money
This method is admittedly not a very elegant solution to the money problem in Forza Horizon 5. If anything, it even feels like cheating, to a point. But, hey, we have to make money somehow. Right?
With that said, this is only one of the multiple cash-grabbing methods Forza Horizon 5 players have come up with within a short amount of time following Forza Horizon 5’s release.
This method may or may not get patched in the future. However, as long as the Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA has a Super Wheelspin under its Skill Tree, players will most likely take advantage of that fact to make tons of money in Forza Horizon 5.
