The gods of Olympus or Olympians will aid Zagreus in his quest to escape the Underworld in Supergiant Games’ Hades. The Olympians help Zagreus because they believe he wants to leave the Underworld to join them in Olympus. Little do they know that is not Zagreus’ plan at all, and the reason he wants to leave the Underworld is to find his mother. Besides, without the aid of these gods, Zagreus could not escape the Underworld.

Hades: Ares Boon Guide

One of the Olympians who helps Zagreus in his Underworld escape attempts is Ares, the God of War, Zagreus’cousin. In this guide, you will get to know Ares’boons to help Zagreus in his Underworld escape attempts.

Zagreus gets help from the Olympians in the form of boons, which are upgrades that make him stronger. A boon can be obtained from completing chambers as a reward or by purchasing it from Charon’s Shop for 150 Obols. Boons, however, are effective only during the current escape attempt, after which they vanish once Zagreus has died and returned to the House of Hades.

Ares also offers boons that will increase the effectiveness of her Status Curse, Doom, like Dire Misfortune, which increases the Status Curse’sduration. Final Thoughts

One of the best boons in the game is Ares’Battle Rage, as it gives an extremely strong damage bonus by killing only one enemy in the room, then Zagreus’Attack or special will gain a huge damage bonus. This boon can improve Zagreus’s boon build to the point of almost one-hitting enemies.

Ares’sAid is a great Aid boon to have, too, as Zagreus can be impervious to attacks while dealing massive damage with the Blade Rift.

It is also important to note that accepting all of Ares’Boons at least once will complete one of the prophecies in the Fated List of Minor Prophecies called God of War, which will reward 150 Gemstones once completed.
