Phasmophobia is one of the scariest games ever developed. Even though it’s terrifying, it’s enjoyable to play with a couple of friends or random people.
You have to work together and gather evidence and pinpoint which ghost hunts a particular house. There are many evidence types, but today we will cover the scary Spirit Box.
Many have issues using it, so we thought it is best to answer the question: How to use Spirit Box?
How to Use Spirit Box in Phasmophobia
It says it in the name. It’s a box you can use to catch spirits. It can be used to establish communication with the ghosts and record them.
It’s one of those devices which switches frequencies very fast to catch the ghost communicating. The basic premise is that spirits talk on different frequencies, so this device allows switching lightning fast.
There are a couple of ghosts that can be caught with this device. The most known is the Wraith. So, if you want to catch a Wraith, you will need to gather this evidence.
Nevertheless, this is how you use Spirit Box:
- Get the Spirit Box.
- Estimate the ghost’s location roughly.
- Ask general questions with the Spirit Box.
The ghosts will always hear you when you talk in the game, even if you don’t have the Spirit Box. So, you do not need push-to-talk. Just ask away.
Go for general questions like:
- Where are you?
- Why are you hunting this house?
- Who are you?
- Should we leave?
- Are you going to hurt someone?
- Are you alone?
- How many ghosts are there?
- Etc.
It can also respond to different statements to scare you like, “I’m scared.” Nevertheless, you will be scared out of your mind if a ghost replies to you on the Spirit Box. Good luck!
