Money can buy you almost everything in the real world, and in Animal Crossing, the same goes for Bells. There are multiple ways of earning bells in ACNH, and one of them is growing money trees.

But how do you plant a money tree? Well, you bury bells, and then they grow into a tree. However, you can not just bury them anywhere.

When you check your island and do your daily routine, at least one of these shining things is buried underground.

When you dig it out, you will get up to 1,000 Bells.

After digging it up, it will leave a shining hole in the ground. Do not cover this hole yet because you need this to make a money tree.

Open your inventory and get any number of Bells you want to bury.

The ideal amount is 10,000 Bells though you can plant as many as you want. The money tree will bear three bags of Bells with up to 30,000 Bells per bag. This amount is based on RNG, but the minimum amount is the amount you bury. So burying 10,000 Bells will give you at least 30,000 Bells per tree.

After burying your Bells, you should dig up the nursery money tree and transfer it somewhere else to monitor it easily.

From the day you plant the nursery money tree, it will take another four days to fully grow and bear bags of Bells.

After harvesting the Bells, this tree will no longer give you Bells and will become a regular non-fruit tree.

If you have more than one resident or player on your island, each can come across a different buried shiny object. If all players plant their money tree, your island can have a money tree orchard which can be an excellent way to farm Bells.
