Pokemon Legends: Arceus is set in the early days of the Pokemon universe when humans and Pokémon were at odds.
The setting of this game, the Pokemon universe’s Hisui region, will eventually be renamed the Sinnoh region.
The player must capture every Pokémon in this region to complete Hisui’s first Pokédex, which is used to learn about Pokémon.
The player will be assigned a position in the Survey Corps in the Galaxy Expedition Team (also known as the Galaxy Team) of the Jubilife Village, responsible for researching the Pokemon in the region.
In this guide, we will learn everything you need to know about Stantler!
Stantler
Stantler, the 49th Pokemon in the Hisuian Pokedex, is a Normal-type Big Horn Pokemon with a tan body that resembles a deer, a short and round tail, four legs with black hooves, a cream-colored belly, cream-colored spots on its back, brown nose, and a pair of yellow antlers with black orbs in the middle that resemble eyes. Stantler’s antlers can bewitch any person or Pokemon who sees them, according to its Pokedex entry in the game. Grinding up the black orbs from fallen Stantler’s antlers can also make an insomnia medicine.
Basic Information
Stantler is a Normal type Pokemon which means it has a weakness to Fighting type moves (super effective) and an immunity to Ghost-type moves (no effect).
Stantler’s base stats are 73 HP, 95 Attack, 62 Defense, 85 Special Attack, 65 Special Defense, and 85 Speed, for a total of 465.
Stantler can evolve into a Wyrdeer using Psyshield Bash in Agile Style 20 times.
Stantler prefers Springy Mushrooms, Hearty Grains, and Plump Beans if the player wants to try to lure it with food before catching it.
When a Stantler is defeated or captured, the player is rewarded with a Vivichoke and a Pep-Up Plant.
Location
Stantler can be found in the following locations:
In the Obsidian Fieldlands: in the cliff sides northeast of Deertrack Heights
In the Cobalt Coastlands: in Windbreak Stand
In the Coronet Highlands: in Wayward Wood
In the Alabaster Icelands: southeast of Glacier Terrace
Stantler can be found in these locations at all times of the day and in every weather condition.
An Alpha Stantler can be found in the eastern part of Deertrack Heights (north of the Heights Camp or southwest of Worn Bridge) of the Obsidian Fieldlands at all times of day and in all weather conditions. The Alpha Stantler found in this location is a Level 42 Pokemon.
Aside from that, the Stantler can also be found in Massive Mass Outbreaks in the Obsidian Fieldlands.
Research Tasks
The following are the Research Tasks in Stantler’s Pokedex entry:
Multiplier | Research Task | Objectives |
x2 | Number caught | 1/3/6/12/25 |
Number defeated | 1/2/4/10/15 | |
x2 | Times you’ve seen it use Psyshield Bash | 1/3/8/20/40 |
x2 | Times you’ve seen it use an agile style move | 1/3/8/20/40 |
x2 | Number you’ve evolved | 1 |
Except for objectives with a multiplier of x2, which increase two Research Levels for each one completed, the player must complete an objective for a specific Research Task to increase a Stantler’s Research Level by one. To complete Stantler’s Pokedex entry, the player must progress to Research Level 10.
To quickly complete Stantler’s Pokedex entry, the player must catch one Stantler, which ticks the first objective of the “number caught” Research Entry to add two Research Levels thanks to its x2 multiplier, and use it in battle, then use Psyshield Bash in elegant style three times, which ticks the first and second objectives of the “times you have seen it use Psyshield Bash” and the “times you have seen it use a agile style move” Research Tasks to add 8 Research Levels thanks to their x2 multiplier, to reach Research Level 10.
