What’s cool is, each character is also showing off another location from the movie that we’ll be visiting. Bowser has his ominous floating castle, Donkey Kong has the arena that he fights Mario in, Toad has the Mushroom Forest behind him, and Peach is driving her motorcycle on the Rainbow Road.

I actually suspect that the Rainbow Road mission would be around the last part of the film with Mario and friends having fun around the Kingdom, but it would be great if this was one of the missions he would have to go through in order to get Luigi who’s been kidnapped by Bowser.

So far, the film looks like a lot of fun, and a lot of fans have been pointing out how much the movie feels like a love letter to the entire Mario franchise. I guess no amount of Chris Pratt online hate is going to deter people from having fun with what looks to be the most faithful adaptation of a video since HBO’s The Last of Us.

Catch The Super Mario Bros. Movie when it hits theaters on April 7.
