Elden Ring is no doubt on of the biggest games to come out this year, and while we have some traditional trailers for the game, there have also been some celebrity-endorsed previews for ER. Now we have a new trailer featuring UFC star Israel Adesanya.
Watch this:
There aren’t really any new reveals about the game, but we do have some very sportslike taglines from Adesanya with the line, ‘When you fall, don’t lose faith.’ Before him, the live-action trailer for Elden Ring featured Mulan and Mandalorian star Ming-Na Wen.
I’ll admit, it’s a pretty odd choice to have a UFC star promote a fantasy action game, but I guess the aim is to encourage players who haven’t tried out the Soulslike genre before to have a go at something like Elden Ring. After all, a lot of fans say title is actually a great entry point for the genre.
The Golden Order has been broken.
Rise, Tarnished, and be guided by grace to brandish the power of the Elden Ring and become an Elden Lord in the Lands Between.
In the Lands Between ruled by Queen Marika the Eternal, the Elden Ring, the source of the Erdtree, has been shattered.
Marika’s offspring, demigods all, claimed the shards of the Elden Ring known as the Great Runes, and the mad taint of their newfound strength triggered a war: The Shattering. A war that meant abandonment by the Greater Will.
And now the guidance of grace will be brought to the Tarnished who were spurned by the grace of gold and exiled from the Lands Between. Ye dead who yet live, your grace long lost, follow the path to the Lands Between beyond the foggy sea to stand before the Elden Ring.
And become the Elden Lord.
Elden Ring is currently playable for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4|5, and PC.
