Multiple gangs inhabit Los Santos’s streets- the Ballas, Vagos, The Families, Madrazo’s Cartel, and even a cult called the Altruists. Most of these gang members will do nothing but talk trash at you for crossing their view as you pass by them on the street and will leave you alone most of the time.
There’s also the occasional gang war around town, where gang members from opposite gangs engage in random gunfights to the last man standing. You’ll do well to avoid these random gang wars unless they occur in the Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness.

What is the Deal Gone Wrong Event in GTA 5?
The Deal Gone Wrong is a Random Event where you will spot a group of gangsters lying on the ground post-shootout.
As you approach the scene, one of the gangsters tells you about a briefcase hidden at the hill’s bottom. Head to the bottom of the hill, and you’ll spot the briefcase. One of the gangsters close to the briefcase will warn you about it, but you should still take it anyway.
The briefcase will contain a ton of cash which you can then keep for yourself. However, things won’t go smoothly, as the rival gang will soon arrive and attempt to take the briefcase from you.
To complete the Random Event, you must shoot down all the pursuing gang members or drive away and escape.
Deal Gone Wrong Random Event Location
The Deal Gone Wrong Random Event is located at the Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness along the Great Ocean Highway. Multiple red spots will appear on the map if the Random Event is successfully triggered.
Deal Gone Wrong Random Event Rewards
The briefcase you retrieve from the Deal Gone Wrong Random Event contains $25,000 and serves as the event reward. You can also get $1000 from killing all the pursuing gang members, so it might be a good idea to just engage them in a gunfight rather than run away and escape.

That Did Not Go According To Plan
