Michael and the gang will need some Military Hardware for the Paleto Score.
Military Hardware is a heist setup mission for the Paleto Score. You must use Michael or Trevor to intercept a military convoy and acquire a Military Truck containing military hardware.
This Heist setup mission is fairly simple if you just want to get the mission done. But if you want no less than a Gold Medal completion in Military Hardware, you need to know how to approach the mission and the objective you need to complete to get a Gold Medal.
In this guide, we have outlined everything you need to know about the Military Hardware mission and how you can get a Gold Medal for completing the mission in GTA 5.
Military Hardware Synopsis
Michael/Trevor head to the nearest Ammu-nation to pick up some sticky bombs for the job. After purchasing the required bombs, Michael/Trevor head to Harmony to intercept a military convoy.
Michael/Trevor parks his car across the road and plants a sticky bomb on it. As soon as the convoy gets close, Michael/Trevor blows up his car with the sticky bomb, prompting the military personnel to engage.
Despite being outnumbered, Michael/Trevor makes quick work of the military personnel. After the convoy is rid of all the soldiers, Michael/Trevor gets in the truck and takes the Military Truck with the military hardware back to Trevor’s Meth Lab.
Military Hardware Gold Medal Objectives
- Head Hunter: Kill five enemies with a headshot.
- Sticky Strategist: Stop the convoy using a sticky bomb trap.
All Gold Medal objectives for this mission can be completed through multiple replays. You can come back another time and replay the mission to get the rest of the Gold Medal objectives.
Military Hardware Mission Guide
Head to the intersection in Harmony marked purple on the map.
Park your car across the street and wait for the military convoy to arrive. In the meantime, place some sticky bombs on the car.
When the military convoy is close to your parked car, blow up the sticky bombs. This should complete the Sticky Strategist Gold Medal objective.
Take out the soldiers. Make sure you land at least five headshots to complete the Headshot Gold Medal objective. Use Michael’s special ability to land those headshots easily.
After clearing the area of soldiers, take the truck and drive it back to Trevor’s meth lab.
Get out of the truck to finish the mission.
One Step Closer To The Score
Many players have had problems completing the Military Hardware mission in GTA 5. This is because some players opted to acquire the military truck from Fort Zancudo – a tall order for even the most experienced GTA 5 player. You get a 4-star wanted level instantly as soon as you enter the military base.
You should use Michael for the job, as his special ability will help land all five headshots required to complete the Head Hunter Gold Medal objective. On the other hand, simply parking your car across the road, sticking a sticky bomb to the door, and running for the cover should be enough to get you the Sticky Strategies Gold Medal objective.
