Destiny 2: Best Way To Farm Upgrade Modules

Back in the day, you could only upgrade your Destiny 2 gear with Legendary Shards. This was such a problem, because players couldn’t farm them easily, and it made the process really difficult.

Since then, a few items were added to the roster of items that can upgrade your gear, along with Upgrade Modules. Upgrade modules are pretty good since you can fuse gear to make the power level much higher.

They’re pretty hard to come by, but there is a way which is best to go about farming the upgrade modules.

Best Way to Farm Upgrade Modules – Destiny 2

Most people will tell you the usual ways that you can farm them, like bounties, dungeons, and similar stuff. However, I’m much different then that, and will assume that you’re already aware of these methods.

Instead, what I will do is give you a way to have at least 40% drop rate for them from bosses and majors. The main issue with this method is that you have to use quite a bit of your Bright Dust to get the item you need for the farm.

This is what you have to do to farm upgrade modules in Destiny 2:

Go to your local Eververse and buy as many Concentrated Mattergems as possible. Once you consume one, it will last until you get an actual upgrade module, which is actually faster than you think.

Now, it’s time for you to travel to Leviathan’s entrance. Here, there will be many majors which have roughly a 40% chance to drop an upgrade module.

Don’t start killing all of them, because as I said, the Mattergem will last until you get one. Instead, kill them one by one.

Slay one enemy and then check if it dropped an upgrade module. If it did, go to your inventory and consume another Mattergem. However, if it didn’t drop one, then kill the next enemy and check whether there is an upgrade module on the ground.

It is quite an easy process, and it is not like the enemies are that strong. Repeat this process until you are satisfied with the number of upgrade modules. It will take up to 30 minutes to collect at least 50! Good luck!
