One of the Shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the Suma Sahma Shrine or Korsh O’hu’s Blessing. The Shrine itself is no challenge at all. As you enter the Korsh O’hu Shrine, Link will be able to access the shrine’s chest, and he can access the altar and talk to the monk immediately. The real challenge is completing The Seven Heroines Shrine Quest, which must be done before Link can access the shrine. This guide will teach you how to complete The Seven Heroines Shrine Quest, complete the Korsh O’hu Shrine, obtain the chest inside, and claim the Spirit Orb.

Link will be rewarded with Spirit Orbs for completing Shrines. The Spirit Orbs obtained can be exchanged for more Heart Containers or Stamina Vessels. As there are 120 Shrines all over Hyrule, Link can get 120 Spirit Orbs. You can decide whether you want Link to have more Hearts or Stamina.

Link cannot access the shrine immediately. Still, the Suma Sahma Shrine will emerge from the ground in the middle of the East Gerudo Ruins, surrounded by the huge statues of the Seven Heroines, which can be found in the east of Gerudo Town and the Palu Wasteland (the shrine can be found southwest of the Wasteland Tower or south of the Gerudo Canyon Stable and Gerudo Desert Gateway). The Korsh O’hu Shrine is one of 12 shrines in the Wasteland Tower region.

It is important to mention that it is very hot in the area during midday and very cold at night, so make sure that Link has heat-resistant armor, food, or elixirs for the daytime and cold-resistant armor, food, or elixirs for the nighttime.

The Seven Heroines

As mentioned above, Link must first complete The Seven Heroines Shrine Quest to access the Korsh O’huShrine. To start the shrine quest, head to the room at the top of a small flight of stairs on the left side of The Noble Canteen (or right behind the Inn) in the northwestern part of Gerudo Town, and there you will find a Gerudo woman named Rotana

Talk to Rotana, and after asking her what she is doing from the prompt, she will tell Link she is an Archeologist and was reading some ancient text that she discovered the other day, but now she has finally decoded at least part of it. She will say she can finally make a name for herself as an archeologist with this discovery. Rotana will then tell Link that their meeting is not a coincidence and she has never been one to question fate.

Then, she will say that she trusts Link for some reason, so she will tell him the details of her research if Link can keep a secret. After agreeing to the prompt, Rotana will tell Link that there is a temple east of where they are near the entrance to the Gerudo Desert. This temple is dedicated to the seven giant statues of the heroines, which were said to be the divine protectors of the Gerudo. She will then say that it was at that temple that she discovered the ancient scripture, and all that she deciphered so far says:

“When the symbols of the seven find their place, the blessed path will be revealed.”

Rotana will then say that it is believed that people once came from all over the world in search of the heroines’ blessing, but no one has found it yet. After asking her about the blessing on the prompt, she will tell Link that she is unsure what it means, but she thinks she will find out once she deciphered more of the text. Additionally, she will tell Link it is said that the heroines held powers that were part of a bigger whole. Still, each heroine had a different power like skill, spirit, endurance, knowledge, flight, motion, and gentleness. Then, after that conversation, The Seven Heroines Shrine Quest started!

To complete this shrine quest, Link must put the seven metal spheres to their appropriate basins in front of the base of each of the seven giant heroine statues. To do that, this is what Link must do:

  1. First, head to the East Gerudo Ruins (the location mentioned above where the shrine will appear) and gather six of the metal spheres in the middle of the area which are scattered around (one of the metal spheres is already in its appropriate basin which is on the first giant statue from the right so Link does not have to move this anymore): three of the metal spheres are near the middle of the area next to the basins, one of the metal spheres is buried halfway under the sand near the base of the sword of the second giant heroine statue from the left, another one of the metal spheres is also buried halfway under the sand near the base of the sword of the fourth giant heroine statue from the left, and another one of the metal spheres is near the top of the third giant heroine statue from the left which Link can get to by climbing to the top of the second giant heroine statue from the left with the help the ramps and ladders behind it. Link can move the metal spheres by pressing the up directional button, selecting the Magnesis Rune ability, pressing the L button to aim, aiming at one of the metal spheres, and press the A button to activate the Magnesis Rune ability on it.
  2. Once all six metal spheres are gathered in the middle of the area, Link must put each metal sphere in their appropriate basins. As you saw while gathering the metal spheres, there are symbols on each of the metal spheres. Additionally, each giant heroine statue has a symbol marked somewhere on the statue.
  3. For the first giant heroine statue from the left, the symbol is a red comma or apostrophe, which can be found on the giant heroine statue’s feet. Press the L button to aim the Magnesis Rune ability, aim at the metal sphere with the red comma or apostrophe symbol on it, press the A button to activate the Magnesis Rune on it, and place it on the basin in front of the first giant heroine statue from the left.
  4. For the second giant heroine statue from the left, the symbol is a light brown arrow that points upwards (Λ) which can be found on the giant heroine statue’s chest. Press the L button to aim the Magnesis Rune ability, aim at the metal sphere with the light brown upward-pointing arrow (Λ) symbol on it, press the A button to activate the Magnesis Rune on it, and place it on the basin in front of the second giant heroine statue from the left.
  5. For the third giant heroine statue from the left, the symbol is a yellow donut shape (o) which can be found near the hilt of the giant heroine statue’s sword (which is behind the sword itself as it is broken). Press the L button to aim the Magnesis Rune ability, aim at the metal sphere with the yellow donut-shaped (o) symbol on it, press the A button to activate the Magnesis Rune on it, and place it on the basin in front of the third giant heroine statue from the left.
  6. The symbol of the fourth giant heroine statue from the left is a black colon (:) which can be found on the giant heroine statue’s head. Press the L button to aim the Magnesis Rune ability, aim at the metal sphere with the black colon (:) symbol on it, press the A button to activate the Magnesis Rune on it and place it on the basin in front of the fourth giant heroine statue from the left.
  7. For the fifth giant heroine statue from the left, the symbol is a green, thick-looking S (a thick ∫), which can be found near the hilt of the giant heroine statue’s sword. Press the L button to aim the Magnesis Rune ability, aim at the metal sphere with the green thick-looking S (a thick ∫) symbol on it, press the A button to activate the Magnesis Rune on it, and place it on the basin in front of the fifth giant heroine statue from the left.
  8. Lastly, for the sixth giant heroine statue from the left, the symbol is a blue curvier-looking arrow that points upwards (looks like a tear or minimalist fire icon) which can be found on the giant heroine statue’s chest. Press the L button to aim the Magnesis Rune ability, aim at the metal sphere with the blue curvier-looking and upward-pointing arrow symbol on it, press the A button to activate the Magnesis Rune on it, and place it on the basin in front of the sixth giant heroine statue from the left.
  9. Finally, after successfully putting the metal spheres into their appropriate basins, the Korsh O’hu Shrine will emerge from the ground in the center of the area. The Seven Heroines Shrine Quest is now complete!

Now that Link has completed The Seven Heroines Shrine Quest, Link can now enter the Korsh O’hu Shrine. This shrine will no longer have a challenge or puzzle inside as the puzzle was already on trying actually to access the shrine. Upon entering the shrine, this is what Link must do:

  1. Upon entering the Korsh O’hu Shrine, head up the stairs and open the chest to obtain a Flamespear.
  2. Then, just after the chest, continue ahead to the altar, talk to the monk, and claim your Spirit Orb!

As mentioned above, the Korsh O’hu Shrine or Korsh O’hu’s Blessing is one of 12 shrines in the Wasteland Tower region. The other shrines are the Kay Noh Shrine or the Power of Electricity, the Daqo Chisay Shrine or The Whole Picture, the Dako Tah Shrine or the Electric Path, the Jee Noh Shrine or the On the Move, the Hawa Koth Shrine or The Current Solution, the Dila Maag Shrine or Dila Maag’s Blessing, the Misae Suma Shrine or Misae Suma’s Blessing, the Kema Zoos Shrine or the A Delayed Puzzle, the Suma Sahma Shrine or Suma Sahma’s Blessing, the Raqa Zunzo Shrine or Raqa Zunzo’s Blessing, and the Tho Kayu Shrine or Tho Kayu’s Blessing.
