Learn how to make Artisan Goods in Stardew Valley!
Stardew Valley is a peaceful region abundant in crops, animal products, and forage items. These natural resources have a variety of uses, from giving them away to the townhouses to selling them for a quick buck. But perhaps the best way to utilize them is to turn them into Artisan Goods! We have listed all the available Artisan Goods in the game, including what you need to do to obtain them.
Artisan Goods are processed items such as wine, cheese, mayonnaise, etc. Selling these products is arguably the best way to make much money in this game. But, before you start making heaps of Artisan Items, you must first learn how to build Artisan Machines.
Artisan Machines
An artisan machine is where you can put raw items that get refined into artisan products. Players can build machines using several materials, and you can only craft most of them after reaching specific Farming skill levels.
Craftable machines are not the only thing you unlock as you level up. You can choose Professions that can give you special abilities or raise the value of your products. Choosing the Artisan Profession over the Agriculturist Profession is a good choice if you want to profit more from crops or animal products. This ability can raise the price of Artisan Goods by 40%. To help you decide on the best products to invest in, we have written below all the products you can refine with Artisan Machines.
Stardew Valley Artisan Goods – Mayonnaise Machine
The Mayonnaise Machine is one of the first machines you can craft, and it only becomes available once you reach Farming Level 2. As its name implies, it can turn an egg into mayonnaise. It takes three in-game hours to process eggs into mayonnaise, no matter which type of egg you use. To build a Mayonnaise Machine, you will need 15 pieces of Wood, 15 Stone, 1 Earth Crystal, and 1 Copper Bar.
Mayonnaise
The quality of the mayonnaise depends on the size of the chicken egg. For instance, if you put a Regular-sized Egg into the Mayonnaise Machine, you will get a Normal-quality Mayo. However, placing high-quality chicken eggs in the machine does not mean you can turn them into high-quality mayonnaise.
Large-sized eggs produce Gold-quality Mayonnaise. Your chickens can provide large eggs if you constantly care for them. You can obtain Iridium-quality Mayonnaise with Golden Eggs. Golden eggs will not be available until you achieve 100% perfection in the game.
Lastly, if you place an Ostrich Egg in the Mayonnaise Machine, you will acquire ten mayonnaise. Unlike the chicken eggs, the quality of ostrich mayonnaise is determined by the grade of the ostrich egg.
Duck Mayonnaise
Ducks that are regularly fed lay eggs every two days. Duck Mayonnaise is obtained after processing a Duck Egg in the Mayonnaise Machine. This artisan product costs 375g, but picking the Artisan Profession will boost it to 525g. Duck Mayo is also used as a key to unlock one of the three hidden boxes that contain a Strange Statue.
Void Mayonnaise
Void Mayonnaise is a vile-smelling jar of black paste that most NPCs hate, except for Krobus and Sebastian. They can be acquired by processing Void Eggs in the Mayonnaise Machine. The highest profit you can get from Void Mayo is 385g. It can not be sold at a higher price, but it is an essential item you need to get to complete the Goblin Problem quest.
Dinosaur Mayonnaise
Dinosaur Mayonnaise is produced by placing a Dinosaur Egg in the machine. It is not easy to acquire these elusive eggs, but the good thing is there are plenty of ways to find them. Dino Mayo is the most profitable mayonnaise, selling for as high as 1,120g per jar.
Stardew Valley Artisan Goods – Bee House
The Bee House is a different kind of Artisan Equipment. It makes Honey, but instead of placing a raw item inside, you must plant flowers near the equipment and wait four days for the bees inside to create Honey. Different flowers bloom for different seasons, and the flowers you plant around the Bee House will affect what kind of Honey it produces. Gather 40 Wood, 8 Coal, 1 Iron Bar, and 1 Maple Syrup to make a Bee House. The Bee House is the second Artisan Equipment you can craft since it gets unlocked after reaching Farming Level 3.
Spring
Tulip is one of the flowers that grow around spring, and the Honey you can get from them will earn you up to 224g. Blue Jazz may not be the prettiest flower that blossoms in Stardew Valley due to its simple sphere-like appearance. But it has a slightly better selling price than Tulip Honey, costing up to 280g per jar.
Summer
Despite being a universally hated gift, the Poppy flower is the finest colorful crop to grow in Summer. Poppy Honey will earn you 532g should you pick the Artisan Profession. Summer Spangle Honey comes in second place; its highest-selling price is 392g. Sunflower seeds are steep, and Sunflower Honey will only amount to 364g. But the flower that sprouts from Sunflower seeds can survive both Summer and Fall.
Fall
Another flower that can thrive in the fall season is the Fairy Rose. Fairy Rose Honey is the most expensive honey in the game, fetching over 925g per jar.
Any Season except Winter
Wild Honey is what you obtain if you place a Bee House on the farm where no flowers surround it. Without flowers to work with, bees can only produce Wild Honey, which sells for 100g.
Stardew Valley Artisan Goods – Preserves Jar
Preserves Jar can take in fruit, vegetable, and sturgeon roe and preserve them until they become artisan goods. You must only reach Farming level 4 to unlock the Preserves Jar. You must have 50 Wood, 40 Stone, and 8 Coal to craft it. Processing raw materials in this equipment takes 2 to 4 in-game days. Therefore, to maximize profit, try to build plenty of Preserves Jars and make bulk preserved goods.

Miscellaneous Stardew Valley Artisan Goods Machines – Tapper
The Tapper and Heavy Tapper are Refining Machines that can collect Saps when placed on Trees. Tappers can produce Tree Saps and Tree Syrups, which are considered Artisan Goods in the game. Despite that, you can not sell these products at a higher price even if you become an Artisan. Instead, their value only increases if you pick the Forester and Tapper Profession.
Tappers can become available after you get to Foraging Level 3. You can craft a Tapper using 40 Wood and 2 Copper Bars. Meanwhile, the recipe for Heavy Tapper can be purchased from Mr. Qi’s Walnut Room for 20 Qi Gems. Heavy Tappers can produce Tree Syrups faster. The materials required to craft them are 30 Hardwood and 1 Radioactive Bar.
Maple Syrup
Maple Syrup is produced by tapping a Maple Tree. This sweet syrup can help you regain a tiny portion of your health, but it would benefit you more if you turned it into a Maple Bar. Maple Syrup can be sold for 250g if you become a professional Tapper. Most of the NPCs prefer Maple Syrup, apart from Maru.
Oak Resin
Oak Resin comes from Oak Tree. Unlike the Maple Syrup, Oak Resins are inedible since their purpose lies in their use as a crafting material. You could not build a Keg or a Deluxe speed gro without Oak Resin. Regarding gifting, Maru is the only Pelican Town villager who likes Oak Resin. You can sell Oak Resin for 187g.
Pine Tar
Pine Tar is a tree sap that is collected from pine trees. It is used to make Looms, Rain Totems, and Speed-Gro. You can earn 100g to 125g from selling them. Most NPCs do not appreciate receiving Pine Tree goop as a gift. Unsurprisingly, Maru is the only villager who’s fond of Pine Tars.
