Sustenance is important in Valheim. Eating healthy and getting the best nutrition will have an impact on your stamina, and therefore on your skills’ levels.

Valheim: Can You Plant Raspberries or Blueberries

However, the raspberries and blueberries are not one for nutrition. Instead, you will need a whole lot of these to progress in Valheim. But if not for eating them, what can raspberries and blueberries be used for?

They’re ingredients that you can use to make mead bases. This is the main reason why so many players are eager to know whether you can plant these.

Can You Plant Raspberries or Blueberries – Valheim

Mead bases are essentially potions. All you need to do to mead bases is put them in a fermenter and slowly but surely, a potion will be made from this process.

Most of the mead bases in the game will require either raspberries and blueberries or in many cases both. Nonetheless, getting these is a challenging endeavor, so growing them might be a great way to have plentiful right?

Wrong. You can’t plant raspberries or blueberries in Valheim! This is quite unfortunate as many players struggle getting a good number of berries that would satisfy them to make enough meads for a whole lifetime.

Seems like the whole premise of Valheim is around making the players suffer. And even though that might sound uneasy, it is actually the main reason this game shot up in popularity in the last few weeks.

Since Valheim is getting much more new players, the developers seem much more focused on creating and bringing new content to light.

Even though Valheim was released February of 2021, there have been official plans by Iron Gate AB released, stating that there would be as many as four major updates this year!

On top of that, much of the current mechanics and systems will be heavily impacted and improved as well.

All of this is to say that Valheim is still early access, and many of the things in the game will be a subject to change. Not much is official, or whether we will be able to plant berries in the future, but chances are that this will happen.
