Destiny 2 has always had interesting NPCs. To keep with the game’s ever-changing story, sometimes these NPCs move around, which makes it particularly difficult for players to find their locations. Nonetheless, there is a particular character which is known for their traveling log. Xur is a character which moves around a lot in Destiny 2. Still, that might be because of what items you can get from him.
Xur always has a great roster of gear for players of Destiny 2, and it is no different now. But where is he now, and what gear can you expect to get from him?
Xur’s Location in Destiny 2
For those that don’t know, Xur is an Agent of the Nine, and a great vendor. Main things he sells is exotic and legendary items for some legendary shards. He is absolutely crucial for building up your gear.
Like we said Xur roams around a lot, and he appears weekends between 12PM EST on Friday to Tuesday. This week, Xur is located in the Tower, behind the Dead Orbit/Hangar in Destiny 2. He is at the north-side of the hangar.
Make sure that each time you speak with Xur, that you get the exotic cypher and the exotic engram as well. Also, check if the armor offered is better than your own.
What Gear Xur Offers
Xur doesn’t offer the same pieces of armor each week. On the contrary, he has a different roster each week, and this week’s roster is very appealing:
- Monte Carlo – Exotic Weapon – Worth to get if you’ve missed out on it before.
- Knucklehead Radar – Great for hunters.
- Synthoceps – For titans.
- Winter’s Guile – For warlocks.
It is safe to say that Xur offers some great items that are definitely worth picking up. However, it seems fair to mention that if you’re looking to get some stuff from Xur, then you must be sure to have progressed quite a bit in the game.
